Why are finishing chances and goalkeeper performances never used as a measure of team performance?
Creating lots of chances but not scoring is a bad team performance.
Utd aren't 'outplaying' all of their opponents, they are awfully ineffective and only appear to dominate because they hog the ball and do nothing with it.
Equally, when Utd have been labelled 'lucky' for De Gea making saves in a match - how is that lucky? Is it lucky when a striker scores a goal?

This suggests Wolfsburg, having played only 2 home games compared to Utd's 3, have been far superior to Utd

I call this bitter sport for a reason.
"Shot-shy United have endured a tough time in front of goal this season, with Saturday's 0-0 draw at home to West Ham the fifth goalless draw in their last nine games."
So lets see Man Utd 65 shots 27 on target 32 corners
Wolfsburg 64 shots 23 on target 17 corners, PSV 47 shots 23 on target 15 corners CSKA 49 shots 16 on target 19 corners.
The reason why Man Utd have so many corners is every team so far even in CL likes to play an 8-1-1 formation and wait for counter attack against us and thats why we have so much possession and corners and shots.
We also conceded the fewest shots in the CL after 4 games not sure if the 8 shots PSV had keeps us still the best in that regard. The reason why we concede so few shots in PL CL or any competition since LVG took charge is we attack about 70 minutes of games in oppositon half so they don't have much time to attack us, bit like Barcelona under Pep Guardiola.
........
However, further inspection of the statistics shows that they've allowed the opposition the fewest shots in the competition

DDG is 27th in this list for saves joint with Joe Hart. 12 saves but difference is Joe Hart conceded 2 more so we conceded 2 shots on target less. I think due to that PSV game Barcelona keeper had less to do.
Hafi, do you know what the word 'humility' means?
Yes I know what humility means.

Steve Nicol is as biased as ever, all english teams to get wins except Man Utd to lose based on what he wants to happen not what he expects to happen.

Wolfsburg are so amazing 5th in the Bundesliga with 25 points from 15 games and a +7gd. Man Utd 4th in PL with 29 points from 15 games and +10gd. I remember last season every pundit talks up the other side we destroy with relative ease playing the same way we usually do and people got suprised like Tottenham Liverpool Man City game.
