I'm beginning to wonder if Judd is going to win any of the big 3 again he always looks like he will but seems to bottle it. Last season he got to the final of the UK Championship and lost in a deciding frame, also the semis of the World Championship with a deciding frame defeat. I'm pretty sure this was the first time he's got to the semis of the Masters and I thought he would win today but nope.

Sorry, but that's ridiculous. I'm not a big fan of Trump, but one thing he doesn't lack is bottle - he goes for his shots, and plays in an entertaining way. Maybe he's lost a few close ones, but it's not because he's missed a load of chances or easy balls, his opponent has had to play well.

After a great win against Robertson, it was always going to be difficult to match that, and let's face it, Hawkins played one of the best matches he has ever played, opening up with a couple of centuries. I'm pretty sure Trump will win a few more big titles, but today just wasn't his day.

I'm a huge fan of Trump and he's even admitted himself sometimes he's not 100% confident and there is pressure on him. Last few years I've kept on saying I believe he will win plenty of titles and start to dominant the game. Unfortunately it's not even came any close to this happening.

Hopefully he will win a ranking event this season and there are plenty of tournaments left and that will give him a lot more confidence and things could kick on.

He'll be a nearly man of this generation I think...yes will win titles but not perhaps as many as he "should"
