Amla said he was going to bowl Morkel, no ambition to stay out there and win the game.

poor...very poor....eng still pretty woeful under pressure....don't deserve to be saved by the weather....but hey ho.go again.

How is that a wum mate? Bad light saves a side who got 600+ runs in the first innings from the most embarrassing defeat in history.

defeat...how so!?

Ok, badly worded. From the possibility of the most embarrassing defeat

Robbed SA have been. England must have been doing the rain dance.

The series is 1-1 in my eyes this is without SA Top Bowlers.

No lies, please take that particular comment of mine with a pinch of salt... If you weren't a regular on here during pak v eng series you probably won't see the point

England Robbed here from bad South African captaincy by Amla. Clearly had enough in the second innings to bowl out the choking South Africans and Ampa decides to keep his quicks on.

He's obviously content with a 1-0 series loss to England at home. No doubt there will be another road in the next match..

very poor test for england after the first innings batting..Lucky to escape with a draw..I dont seee us holding onto a lead if we bat like the second innings again..
Anyway Amla as resigned as SA captain.. thats a positive for team.

This is turning out to be a good performance form the underdogs,

A team ranked 6th in the world, up against the best, and they are holding their own.

Excellent stuff form England

Lefy when India actually wina series in SA you can comment on it. India have never won a test series in south africa or Australia.. India have got to the position they are in the test rankings because of their home form..

England finally get revenge from what Grahame Smith did to every English skipper after SA toured England.

posted on 6/1/16

I dont think Smith is the soul reason england captains were sacked afer we played his team..I think its more likely it turned out to be 2/3 years of poor preformances and the SA ended up being the final nail in the coffins for 3/4 captains.. I think it will be the same for Cook if we end up losing this series.
I dont see it happening though really.. I think the weather will play a major part in one of the games..

I hope Cook goes though.. His two slips and wide gully really does my head in. even when we are 400 runs ahead.

Timing of Amla resigning is shocking. Mid way through a series. Ridiculous

He knows he can't lead the team. Better than hanging around until the end when it may be too late.

Saffers only have themselves to blame for batting for time. England did their best to force a result, one way or the other

Not impressed though. If Steyn or Philander were fit that could've been a defeat

Steyn out Injured lucky england. Facing a part time seam attack.

posted on 12/1/16

That's it, get your excuses in early... I'm not sure how you can call Steyn the best in the world if he's always or injured to be honest....

Did you hear us moan or make excuses in the first test without Anderson?

haha Serial Styen is not always injured just got rushed back.

He only bowled in 1 innings in the 1st test as he was injured lol and Anderson is nowhere near Styen.

If England lost Anderson and Broad they would be lost.
