Yes, I dare say if you take the two best bowlers out of most teams they would struggle, well observed Boss.

Neo,

No need for that. No need.

Spare a thought for us Aussie fans, I can't remember the last time we had all our pacemen available.

When you were womped in the ashes...?

Ok, I'll bite.

Ever heard of Ryan Harris? Besides there are 2 guys who if they had been injury free would probably be ahead of Hazlewood in the pecking order.

3-2 is a whomping now is it? A good victory and well deserved, but it's not quite 5-0 is it?

This England team isn't as injury-prone as the ones of the Flintoff-Jones era. Wonder if a certain Broad should be given credit for this.

If Ryan Harris was fit the ashes could well be in the aussies hand. He really was a top notch bowler who gave the aussies loads in terms of control and wickets.

Who the hell thought that Ashwell Prince would make a good commentator...?

No wickets yet for England... Must be a road this surface? Very unlike Jimmy and co not to exploit bowler friendly conditions first up

What an awful shot..

Gifted wicket... van Zyl channelling David Warner with that dismissal. Done all the hard work in the first hour too, no need.

What do you guys think a good 1st innings score would be?

Think 300 would be ok.

posted on 14/1/16

350.

Not confident of England doing well in this game. Got a horrible feeling it's going to be two sub 200 innings from us.

Fellow England fans... Quick hypothetical question...

Would you take a series draw if offered to you right now? And would you be happy with it?

Can't wait for Englandwhoelse's response...

Stokes is a cracking player, in a few years he could be right up there as one of the best all rounders playing.

posted on 14/1/16

To be honest he's probably the best all rounder out there at the minute anyway.

I mean who else is there apart from Matthews who rarely seems to bowl now?

If he's half the players Kallis was we'll have a cracking player.
