They would have cleaned up the england innings for 200 so that innings would never had happened

A lot of emphasis on Philander who hasn't had a test match 5 for in about 3-4 years...

So we would have had 200 to chase, and still won easily..

Pretty hard getting 5 for when you only play 6-8 tests a year and when you have Styen, Morkal and Kallis at the other end taking wickets for fun.

But hang on. You said that with him you'd have won the series? How can it be so hard to get a 5 for when he's as good as you make him out to be?

BOSS is just incapable of accepting that the Saffers have been well and truly outplayed in their own backyard.

You don't average 22 in test cricket by being chit. So it doesnt really matter if he doesnt get 5 fors. 3-4 wickets in each innings is plenty.

take out broad and anderson and england are left with Woakes/Footit and Jordan. How do you think you would have fared with that bowling line up in these 3 tests???
