stokes has the brains of a jellyfish. all you gotta do is put someone on the deep cover boundry and ball short at him. he will try and hit the ball for 6.. and sometimes like 2 out of the last 3 dismissals he will get caught there. and he will carry on playing the shot and he will carry on getting out that way..

Think you guys are being way too harsh on Rashid, he played in the UAE against a team that are excellent at playing spin bowling. I'd like to see him given a few tests in England before we completly write him off.

I know its on the Big Bash but he was outstanding for his team and was very economical too. Just needs to improve his control in test cricket and that will come with experience.

Would England have won the series with a bowling attack of Jordan, Woakes, Finn, Stokes Ali??

One day cricket has all but ruined decent Test Match cricket. Yet another second innings capitulation from a so called Test side, that can barely last an hour, when they were supposed to be batting all day.

Playing one day shots, when the order of the day is to block the ball. Cook cannot fault the lads to much he says.

Shoddy shoddy end to a great series...presumably they're all booked to go play golf this afternoon

They won the series, great, but golf this afternoon and the flight home seemed more important, it's a disgrace, (just like the Oval Test last summer).

I know it is difficult when you have won the series. Australia used to lose a few dead rubbers when they were 3 or 4 up, but this morning was appalling.

I am having a "pop" at stokes.He keeps pulling the ball down fielders throats..he had a good series no doubting it..But like the top order who i have also complained about.. he needs to keep on scoring runs. Not 250 and a 50 and then nothing else for 6 test matches.
Cook wasnt that great in this series either..It came down to Broad Finn and Stokes bowling that won england the series..
