I’m expecting Vader early in Ep 5 Ala Empire Strikes Back. And a full on battle on a snowy location.
But again, how does that progress the story.

Hold on, Obi-Wan hadn’t fully healed from the fire. Hadn’t let the Bacta Tank do it’s thing. We him struggle to force grab a wheel nut or something… but now he has his powers back?!!

Just like that. So what’s the point of Qui Gon Jinn now?

its what they do..... they are so lazy and so unimaginitive. they can only build tension by making forget or give up the force powers (seem familiar!!?) they can only progress a character by gradually letting them regain all their powers conveniently when its needed most. its just so lazy

Well apparently some kid will be in it, but if we introduce that obscure character from Clone wars people will just talk about the Easter eggs.....maybe a holo of Uncle Palps will be enough. Then just make up some random sheet for the other 25minutes, I think the protagonist should wear a disguise - like the glasses with a the mustache stuck to the bottom should be fine......

or use the exact same force power to put out the flames like he did 15 secs before (must have been on a cool down), or walk round the fire, or have some of the many hundreds of troops swing in behind them. or wait for the flames to die , down, go bank to your bacta tank and come back since its a god damn slow a££ loader droid picking him up and carrying him

And then he’s getting mad at Reva in the next Ep, for letting him go… which makes no sense. Like where the hell was Vader anyway?

Where is the security of the Starships. All those bozos sitting at their monitors, and nobody once see’s enemy fighters approaching?!!

And when the Alarm is going off, why are Troopers just still casually walking around?!
And they still couldn’t notice a dude with a beard, in a oversized trench coat, hiding an infant.

I defended the ending of episode 3 by claiming that Vader let Obi Wan go, because he wanted to toy with him and he knew he couldn't get off the planet.

This episode completely decimates that theory. So not only did Vader get stopped by the "flames", he also let Obi Wan go and then they somehow managed to get him off a planet that was supposed to be locked down. This show has done a terrible job with certain characters but when the bad writing starts to effect icons like Vader, it's hard not to get upset.

Yeah despite being totally surrounded and badly injured Obi Wan manages to get comfortably stretchered away. It's completely ludicrous and no explanation is given to this miraculous escape.

Vader met Leia in ANH and didn't appear to know that (a) she was force sensitive or (b) was his daughter. So I wouldn't be overly critical of Reva not figuring it out.

Personally I don't need to be shown every single thing to make a story work. Reva clearly gave Leia her droid back but I don't necessarily need to see the handover to make it a reasonable plot line.

IMO there are enough holes in this without picking at loose threads. Tbh, I hadn't given the ships being able to attack much thought. I was able to forgive no Tie Fighters because of the element of surprise and takes time to scrabble fighters up (many SW scenes in the past...) but thinking about it - they shouldn't have been able to get close without being detected. Or if they're going to allow it, come up with a convincing dialogue as to why it's possible.

Presumably Vader and his crew decided to blaze up a few J's and give Obi Wan a good headstart in his get away. Then totally forgot he was even on the planet and decided to go to the petrol station instead because they all had the munchies.

that and the sirens are literally going off when Leah is still captured,,, we go through multiple scenes until the fighters save them ... there was loads of time to have pilots in tie fighters ready to go

Fair enough Naby8, maybe I’m being over critical there.
The Vader thing, Um… well I’m just saying she used Force against Leia and it didn’t work.
We didn’t see it with Vader on Leia, but again, ok, let it pass.
But we can agree though, that now Leia has played a big part, how Vader isn’t aware that something is up with her, especially that a Jedi risks his life to rescue her.
The guy in Guvs video explained it, and I’m just shaking me head.

I was wondering why, the Stormtrooper is acting dazed and shaking his head.
Then you see it, and you can’t unsee it. .

It a Slap to the head, then another slap to the other trooper, taking his gun, then shooting him, all the while the first StormTrooper is recovering from the Slap.

He has a facking helmet on!!

och that can replayed throught the entire series...

in ep 3 a all the troopers are there looking fr a jedi and girl together. Obi Wan (one of the most famous jedi in the universe) and Leah a princess .... two unknown random people that no one will know what they look like. what does Obi wan look like.....beard scraggly, wearing jedi robes.

first squad of troopers meet a guy and a girl randomly in the desert, one with a beard looking scraggly, wearing jedi robes with a young girl..........a young girl who he literally calls Leah in front of them .......

At no point does any of the troopers say ... you know that guy and girl were looking for, the jedi and the princess called Leah ......... i mean ffs
