I think the colour and brightness of the saber is off in the tv series. It seems slower too, compared to the prequels.

And starts to integrate Leia, a 10yr old, about the Pathway to finding others, and the locations.
Then Leia is rescued again.
But Reva has a plan by putting a tracker on her, implying she deliberately let them escape.
Even though, she tried to stop them at the last second.
Wade

Then Vader catches up with Reva, but she tells Vader the plan, which impresses Vader. Spares her life.
Only for Reva to then say, Kenobi is the Priority!!!!!

That’s the story so far right?

Pretty much.

Hmm., so Temuera Morrison wishes he could’ve done things differently in Book of Boba Fett.
He wants to be a Badass again. And hopes that will be the case in Mando S3.
Well, they got a problem brewing with him, cos of his age. How does Boba’s story end? It has to, and I think soon.

Here’s a question the answers to which I feel will tell us a fair bit:

how many, if any of us, are completely buzzing off Obiwan? Not perfection, granted, but really enjoying it like Clone Wars (2003 or 2008) say?

Some may like it more than I do but I bet hardly anyone or no-one here is fully loving it.

If I’m right, I think that says a lot that none of us fking love it all wholeheartedly and we’re Star Wars fans. More critical we may be; but if done right, we’re also the most pleased & excited. Vader vs obi fight for example: explanations aside, it wasn’t great but all of us loved it in part because of what it was.

Is it a getting old thing or is the essence of what captured us simply no longer likely to be delivered? (Probably both)

Agree with what you say. Though the getting old thing, I’m not sure about, but the essence is deffo missing, the capturing of imagination and wonderment isn’t there.
We see flashes of it though.
They should just call it, A Star Wars Story: Easter Eggs.
Or Nostalgia Wars. Cos that’s all we seem to get, and they think that’s enough. Taking us for granted.

Kids today, don’t care for it as they should. Sure they are spoilt for choice today. But you get it right, and it’s no contest.
Star Wars shouldn’t be this hard to get right.
It’s not complicated.
We love this universe, so many great stories can be told. Just tell a good story. Show a little care.
Pay attention to the fine details.
The greatness of Star Wars is that it’s a family thing. Generational. It’s universal. Not political. No Racial agendas.
Just wholesome storytelling in a classical, fantastical way.

And yet, here we are, with maybe the most toxic, politicalised, and race baited franchise in film out there today.
I’m truly hoping KK steps down after Indiana Jones next year.

Bad batch, clone wars, mandalorian all enjoyable.

It shouldn’t have been hard to make a good series out of one of the most beloved characters in the galaxy. Could have been issues yes, but not this bad.

I don't understand how this is so badly dealt with and no one seems to be saying anything - like I can't see how anyone who loves Star Wars let's this stuff out.

Like what the average Star Wars fan wanted: Obi going on some adventures, doesn't have to be too grand, maybe find a grey Jedi, fall in love, ride a bantha etc etc

What we are promised: A huge adventure and guess what Darth is back! Huh? But ok, should be cool, they learnt their lessons from BoB didn't they........they learnt their lessons from BoB!?!

What we get: The adventures of Princess Leia, the most annoying 10 year old since Dora, and with much less Spanish!

Is weird how in the last two series BoB and Ob1 the lead character is more of a sideline.

Kathleen Kennedy clearly doesn't like white males getting too much glory or shine. Or black males for that matter when you look at how horribly sidelined Finn's character became over the Disney trilogy.

He did kind of disappear for large chunks didn't he. Is a shane PC gone mad is having such a big impact on star wars. No disrespect but in the star wars galaxy and given how power hungry the guys are i don't believe for a minute there would be so many women in big strong positions!!

I have small moments where I feel a buzz but I feel flat at the end of every episode honestly.

At the same time as watching this I've watched Stranger Things, The Boys and Ms Marvel and all of them objectively make Kenobi look kinda stupid.
