I'm sure we will see alien species and maybe some Bothans.
Speaking to my mate earlier, he’s loving Andor, and he called me, and he was buzzing about Ep 4, and he revealed something to me I wasn’t aware of, because of a particular scene.
If what he says is true… oh man.
Yeah like we're supposed to believe that you have a mate

Now is not the time for yer jibba jabba fool.
Ok I'll get back on topic.
When is spoiler chat for episode 4?
Um.. I dunno, I suppose Sunday.
We waited a week, cos it was 3 eps, but I’d say weekend is fair enough. If that’s ok with everyone.

Interested to know what that is because I clearly missed it!
Right, is this Andor worth watching then?

Yes. One of the best shows so far.

Personally I'd have it above Mando atm. But Mando had some outrageously good episodes (along with some filler). Andor so far is excellent imo and if it has those moments/episodes as well then it'll be a special series.

Just feels so refreshing.. my minor, very minor quibble with the show, is where the End Credits come in.
Just doesn’t feel like a natural end. It just ends abruptly.
So far I’d say Ep 3 is the only one that had a ending….

We need wait for the rest of the season to play out before placing it in the rankings but these first 4 episodes are better than Mandos first 4, in my opinion.
Also, Skarsgard has taken the show to a new level. Episode 4 has some of the best dialogue and political intrigue I have seen in Star Wars.
Oh and this goes without saying but Andor is already superior to any of the MCU shows.
That bit when he was getting dressed.. getting into character was awesome.
I think we just saw a very real moment into the life of an actor..

I thought Genevieve O'Reilly stole the scenes in episode 4 actually, thought she was superb in conveying the emotions of pressure. Won't go into detail in case it's a spoil.
I think what we can say is the general level of acting so far has been top notch. A far cry from Ewan McGregor desperately trying to hold a series up on his own.
Right I think I’ll play catch up this weekend

Totally.
Across the board from everyone, the acting is the best of any Star Wars series yet. I think we can say that after 4 eps.
Who jumped at the ‘LOOK AT ME!’ Line… I did. Wasn’t expecting that.

***************Episode 4 Spoilers**********
Excellent episode. The stuff with Andor joining a team that consists of rebels in their infancy was great and the dialgue between Skarsgard and the team leader was very engaging. From the sleeping guard to the basic living arrangements, you can see what this will become but it's all very amateur hour, which makes perfect sense.
Then we get to my favourite part, the politics on Coruscant. That briefing room scene between imperial staff was insightful and it's exactly what I expected from the empire. Politics at its finest with each member trying to earn favour and climb the greasy pole.
We then get to the Mon Mothma scene, which for me, is the most spy thriller/espionage themed scene in all of Star Wars. From her entering the store, playing the role of dutiful wife and then Skarsgard playing his part and the dialogue between them is terrific. She then goes back to her home and we see her family life and the pressure she is under, as she walks this tight rope of being in politics but also funding a rebellion. This is what we never see in SW, the people that risked their lives behind enemy lines. Also, I am pretty sure her husband will die, which may force her to escalate her efforts to support the rebels.
She alluded to having another person that could help Skarsgard. Who do you think this is? Bail Organa, Leia, another surviving jedi?
I’m thinking Bail Organa. I mean Leia is what, 14/15 years old at this point.
But the thing my mate told me was the scene in Mon Mothma’s home. He hears a place mentioned, And that could be the seeds being planted of a tragic event about to happen a couple years from now.
This event shows off the Empire at the height of its dominance and cruelty, and most probably is the thing that totally starts to bring the Rebellion together, with Mon leading the charge.
I’m hoping we get to see the dinner scene, maybe Tarkin in there too, cos it will make for great tension.
