somebody posted today, that within a couple of days in the run up to the premiere, they saw the running time advertised change from 2hrs 40, to 2hrs 20 ?!...

I don't believe in the conspiracy to hurt JJ, cos they are thinking of his potential D.C movie, hurting them. Just doesn't make sense, why would Iger go over KK's head to hire him again?

Last episode of the mandalorian was amazing. The things that happened in that last episode was better than anything in episodes 7-9. Cannot wait for the series, it's going to be ace.

Still waiting til March... its all good. Lost in Space is back. tough the 1st season was good.

According to leaks yesterday the next set of movies will take place in the "high republic" era. Roughly 400 years before the Skywalker saga.

Very cool to see a set of movies potentially focusing on Yoda's midlife crisis (he would be in his 4-hundreds at this point. Which I guess is the 40s for his species).

There will be a side media (comics, books and such) project going on leading into the and during the movies that will do a lot of world building for the hardcores as well.

This is a time period that is virtually unexplored both by canon and non canon works so that is very cool in my opinion. Very free reigns.

As long as they get more light saber fight scenes in this time then I don't care what else they do. Vitally important we get light saber action. Feckin tragedy at how little there was in the last 3 movies. Let's hope that the next set of films start to tick boxes because they'll start to lose fans if they don't.

I'm intrigued by the sound of the JJ cut, I think I'd go and see that but I dunno about a regular extended cut

Very bad IMO.

I was reading on Reddit yday that she's been in charge of 10 projects since taking over SW and of those projects 8 of them have suffered problems in production.

Without even looking at the fact that she gave the green light to an incoherent mess of a trilogy, it looks really bad on her.

If I was that bad at my job I wouldn't be in it any longer.

On a side note, bought myself Fallen Order the other day for my bday - anyone played it?

Fully agree

I'm a bit wary of saying it because there's probably guys who gatekeep Star Wars and would keep it in the hands on middle aged white guys & I don't wanna sound like that, but her track record is just outright bad at this point.
