The guy was an egotistical ar(s) ehole who is only tolerated cos he brings success, no one can tolerate Jose's bullsh_t if he isnt winning, its as simple as that.

You have managers like Pellegrini, Klopp, etc who are charming and likable men, who you'll give the benefit of doubt too, but im sorry Jose isnt 1 of them.

How can your team be performing so badly, yet honestly believe its no fault of yours, that's insane

if you were Roman, you would fire him too.

Jose would have got you relegated and blamed Roman for not backing him in the transfer window

Today I still love the club as much as ever but have fallen out of love with the game at our current level where loyalty and honour has given way to money and success at all costs.

Good article Whitewall.

Where was Jose loyalty to the club and know that he had to step aside?

"José deserved the season regardless. That's a given. We owe him."

I don't remember seeing this much emotional outpouring when the guy that won you the CL was booted out, or the guy that won UEFA cup was booted out.

The posts today have been something of an eye-opener for me - I know some people loved Jose, but I hadn't realised quite how much and how unswerving it was.

Agreed I'm not defending that.

Good OP and I agree with much of your analysis, however, as a Chelsea fan, rather than a Jose fan, I believe Jose let us down, and split the dressing room, as he did at Real.

Until recently, out of respect, and lacking an alternative, I was ok with giving Jose this season to fix it.

This week, Jose has crossed a line, attacking players on air rather than doing so behind closed doors, and I know some players are guilty of not performing, but not the whole squad, outwith the keepers,Zouma and Willian.

Football under men such as Roman stinks at times, but that is life with money pressure now, and in the past, only one partner had to work to live, while now we all work, just to stay afloat.Times change, not always for the best, and footie is business now.

The plastic owner your talking about is about too use his plastic to the tune of 500mil pounds for a new stadium, he has the right to hire and fire as he pleases. I too think its the players at fault as no matter what game plan the manager sets out when the whistle blows the outcome is solely down to the players. I will be deeply piissed if next season Hazard is still here and Mikkel gone , as for being up there with Ronaldo and Messi forget it the guy has little class and only half their talent.

José has done much more than any manager in our history. That's why. Read the article.

So what's the feelings on Roman then? He's done more than all those managers, Mourinho included. Shouldn't he be supported for trying to cut out the cancer at the club?

Respect to you Whitewall, standing your ground.

Jose did us proud in the past, and only in the last few months can I say I fell outta love with the special wan.

And, if it is not a massive improvement from now on in from those well paid players in blue, I will be first to slate them too.

They have nowhere to hide now.

Jose over the years has consistently provided evidence that he simply isn't a decent man

For every player that says he loves him there is another one he's fallen out with

He tends to play boring football and restrict players

He doesn't develop young talent and give it a chance

He falls out with everybody eventually. This season, the Doctor problem, the media, the sulking, the attacks on others

It's all unbecoming of a man in such a privileged position. His lack of humility and basic standards of behaviour towards others is appalling. He deserves whatever criticism he gets

He's not a 'character', he's not good for the game, he's a 'legend' in his own mind with fundamental flaws to be a long term success at any club. There are plenty of managers who win multiple trophies at big clubs. Even RDM won the CL at Chelsea, Jose couldn't! It's everything else that builds a club. Jose doesn't really care about Chelsea, he cares about himself!

Abramovich is only important to supporters who insist on success. That's not why I support the club. The club was here before him and will be here after him.

I did read the article. It's why I asked the question. He may have won more PL's, but the history books will show he's done little more for the prestige of Chelsea FC than the other managers Roman has cast aside. Yet you say he's done 'much more', if that's how you feel I'll have to accept it, and do gracefully. I just don't see what he's done that much over and above others to warrant the outpouring from so many fans today.

Is there likely to be an audible or visible show of discontent toward players and owner come the weekend?
