Galv there's nothing wrong with a little bit of realism.
Last time he did a fantastic job, but we were still in the top 4 with a better squad than now.
And Guus is coming off the back of failing miserably for Holland.
The best u deserve
Njoy the relegation war

Hiddink should have been given the job permanently ahead of any of his successors, what he did last time was nothing short of a miracle
Flash I was gutted when Hiddink left first time but I'm also definitely sceptical based on the fact that Hiddink is nearly 70 now and that his recent stint with Holland was a flop.
He really needs a good start otherwise we could so easily fall back into the negative spiral we've been in all season and then we will really be looking down the gun barrel of relegation.
Hiddink's prime objective will be to get us as far away from the relegation places as possible. It's difficult to know what else we have to aim for this season though because top four is a near impossibility at this stage.
I assume that finishing as close to the Europa spots as possible and a run in the FA Cup are now the main goals this season.
Not much to get excited about which is why I really hope we see the youngsters like Loftus-cheek and Kenedy given a run so that they'll be ready for next season.

a miracle? really? With the players he had at his disposal?
He did a good job. But he had a squad i'd cheerfully swap for this current one. I think his biggest achievement may have been that we all felt robbed the morning after the Barcelona match.
Well considering the situation he took over to the one he left, from the shambles Scolari left us in he got a 3rd place finish, the FA cup and within seconds of a CL final, all in less than 4 months
As a manager I have grave concerns about him at 69 y/o. Holland's disintegration under him was almost as bad as Jose's here. But as a figurehead of a club that needs one more than we realize right now, he's perfect
We're going to get a backlash from this, that's unavoidable. The players are going to get the Benitez treatment for a while, how quickly that begins to subside will be down to the choice of manager - and someone like Hiddink has instant respect that can't be tarnished even if we got relegated. He'll talk and we'll believe him.
aslong as he drops fabregas, costa, ivanovic and hazard ill be happy

He won't need to drop them. Scooby doo could come in right now and get the team winning. It is literally that easy.
Hiddink would be my preferred option to take us through to the end of the season Flash!
I have no worries over him - well less than I have over anyone else!
Anybody weary !......I am after the circus/shenanigans that we've had to put up with the past year !
Anybody wary ! .... it's in the Chelsea DNA, but I like Gus .
I am very weary....He did great last time round but that was a long time ago and football has moved on.
He has since Failed with Russia and Holland..
I think the chances of us getting relegated have increased with his appointment.

Anybody thinking it's set in stone he'll have a similar impact really need to have a look in the differences in our squads.
Guus did great in 09 but we were in the top 4 when he took over.
Exactly, a consistent top 2 team in fact
Yeah worrying when you compare the 09 team to this bunch of jokers. Hiddink will truly have his work cut out this time.
Biggish I said before the club sacked José that bringing in an interim could actually make things even worse. Hope I was wrong.

I'm stuggling to accept Don't Click's miracle reference, in regards to Guus' first spell at the club.
For the reasons i've already given.
Flash I think that Hiddink did a good job in his first stint but he certainly didn't perform any miracles. What he did do was come in and steady the ship because he already had the leaders on the pitch as well as brilliant players at the top of their game.
This time round it's a totally different proposition isn't it. Hiddink will have to work ten times harder now to get things on track.
At the same time his saving grace is that players like Hazard etc might actually start to try and turn up in games because there is no way they've done so far apart from one or two like Willian.
You just don't know what to expect with these khunty players, especially if the SB fans come down on them like a ton of bricks following Jose's departure which is entirely possible.
Answer to you question:
Very weary
Next manager shud be on Interim basis = Brendan Rodgers
Ideally i would like Alan Pardew. He is doing a great job with Crystal Palace.
Yeah failed with Russia...just matter of completely revolutionising their football and in the process leading them to Euros semi-final for the first ever time in modern era(playing some of the best football in the tournament, including battering the Dutch).
With Holland...tried to change the style to more progressive dominant (total) football from LvG defensive five at the back, rely on Robben counter side.
Unfortunately for Hiddink they couldn't adapt(to 4 at the back woeful dutch defenders) and didn't have Robben fit to mask issues makes them tick insipid without him, nor did they have a in form van Persie(which LvG did) rather had van Persie in terminal decline.
Also Strootman again another key player in midfield missing to strengthen a very abject dutch squad.
Ok, didn't qualify to World Cup with Russia but that Euros achievement outweighs and overrides the failing.
If Hiddink can turn Hazard' in the same vain which he did Malouda, that would be something.
