We might, we might not. Think some people get this idea in their heads that'll be all downhill once Wenger goes even though he's been achieving the bare minimum considering the team he has. He isn't a miracle worker like Fergie was.

well im pretty sure the next manager would sign players in positions we need. after all its wenger's fault we relied on Coq as our only proper DM. every season its the same story but in a different position
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Reminds me of everybody talking about Fergy not buying cm's.
Now we have Carrick, Schweinsteiger, Schneiderlin, Mata, Herrera and we're crap

Appreciate Wenger before he's gone. He's the last of his kind
I will appreciate him properly when he has left. You get the impression though that if we lose tonight the same people will be calling for his head.
People were calling for his head after Bayern beat you, when you were joint top of the league
Haters gonna hate, as they say.
SAF was a genius. Its clear to see even more now. You used to take title challenges like a near guarantee in the premierleague era with SAF or it going to May pretty much most of the time.
I think what gets me is that even if the man won back to back trebles for the last two seasons of his contract. The same ungrateful fans would STILL be moaning whinging and BIYATCHIN' about the 7 seasons he never won anything.
Crying about the lack of trophies when by the time he leaves, his total haul will be in double figures. I know there are a few grown ups whom think Wenger should step down. But I really am curious to know how many of the moaners re trophies are 30 and under.
I suspect the vas majority of fans that want him gone are Early 30's downward. The fans whom grew into football, with us at the top of the mountain. They appreciate nothing Wenger has done because they decided to become Gooners when we were the dominant football force in the country.
I say this because the constant harping over trophies is a massive giveaway. The older ones of us, became fans in the days when we weren't tearing the league apart. It's the most ridiculous stance coming from ANY of the "youngers" I'm talking about. The expectation of a trophy, that now lives among Arsenal fans, is something born of Wenger's era.
I dunno, maybe we should sack him. After all, it is his fault that we now how to deal with whining baby fans whom EXPECT trophies at the end of the season. Instead of just having grateful ones whom can remember the days when nobody batted an eyelid at Arsenal not winning something.
The EXPECTATION of a trophy, is a luxury and a privilege afforded to very few in football (proportionately). The sooner you younger ones realise that and stop viewing the league title as your 'God given right as an Arsenal fan.' The sooner you will learn to appreciate what he has done and still does for this club. The man built you two amazing teams, the best stadium in the country and some of the best players to ever set foot on a pitch. And when he leaves, he'll leave the club FILTHY RICH on top of all that. He came to our "Club" and will leave us a fecking EMPIRE!
GET OF HIS BACK!! JEEZ
Tbh I think football fans look at things too much with bias. Wenger has done OK, not a failure, but not a great job either, the way people either bash him or overly support him is a bit crazy. I think if your going out of your way to defend him then you subconsciously know hes not the best.
Forget the lack of trophies for a bit, the price that arsenal fans pay, the players you've had over the years, he's done a good job to keep you in the top 4 etc.
But I've seen arsenal do the same thing for too long under wenger and that is bully the little sides and play this expansive quick football, yet against a big boy you ultimately bottle it. I've seen too many big losses over the years(probably triple any other top 4 club).
Hes had his strengths but my word has he had his weaknesses as well
Wengers body guard.
Well said. Couldn't have put it better myself.
We are and always have been the best footballing side in the premier league and that's down to Mr Wenger
I would suggest that the majority of Wenger haters may be even younger than you suggest.
Wouldnt swap him for anyone.
