With José in charge, we'll have the best make believe squad in the world.
There's also little belief from United in addressing the media he's safe.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------- Navas ----------------------------
Ramos ------ Garay ------ Otamendi ------ Coentrao
------ Sneijder -------- Thiago --------Fabregas -----
Ozil ----------------------------------------------------- Gaitan
-------------------------- Hazard ----------------------------------
This carrington fc side also live in a universe where time does not exist so these players are the same age as when they first waited in carrington.
Doubt José will follow Ozil's lead of becoming the best player in the PL

yes, what utter desperation to want to be managed by someone with the (second?) best CV in world football.

see what? his CV? i can read it online, thanks. as for the rest of it that's just the tabloid circus, no one really cares about that.
Tabloids? You really can't be serious.

with a username like that i doubt you are serious in anything you write.
and other than one incident of grabbing a bloke's face, and the unfortunate eva incident - which i think was designed to make a point to the owner/players and backfired - i can't think of too much mourinho does that other managers don't do all the time. he may whinge more and more loudly than most, but all managers are whingers, it's part of the job.
I thought the Tito poke was hilarious at the time, sadly he has since passed away and that seems to have had an effect on people's view of the incident.
I don't think Real is the obvious next step for Jose at all tbh. He was only sacked a couple of years ago and has probably learnt now that returning under the same regime that previously sacked you isn't well advised.
There was nothing coming out of the club ahead of Moyes being sacked either tbh. And there never would be, as this would amount to constructive dismissal. That doesn't mean that LVG is not on the brink
Think the OP might have a point about José, but I do think Van Gaal is on his way.

The media knew Moyes was gone before he did himself.
It was handled terribly.

correct...and if i remember rightly the guy had not been diagnosed at the time. yet in people's memories now mourinho was pretty much assaulting a guy in the grave.
The media was no more filled with speculation when Moyes was sacked than now with LVG. I remember his fan boys maintaining that he was as safe as houses right up until the minute he went. Just like now with LVG
People found José poking an opposition manager in the eye funny?

i didn't find it funny, but not sure it was much more shock horror at the time than eg pearson grabbing an opposition player, or fergie kicking a football boot into someone's eye. i do think a lot of the horror today comes from something that no one, not even vilanova i think, knew at the time.
to put it another way, is grabbing someone on the face (and, as far as i can see, inadvertently grabbing his eye) better or worse than kung fu kicking a football fan?

Still alive or not the poke was disgusting. The fact he was later diagnosed changed nothing. Also nice try picking on my name to get away from the ridiculous notion that it is all tabloid stuff.
