We've been lucky with Mandaric and then these guys, they're the difference, along with Pearson bringing Steve Walsh with him and unearthing our team. This could easily have happened at Leeds, you've just been poorly owned.

Would be great to see Leeds back in the PL, not that I particularly like them but you're a big club and he good support and you deserve better.

What's happened to clubs like Leeds and Portsmouth this last decade is everything that's wrong in English football.

Could not agree more - But whilst both clubs have gone into decline due to mismanagement, at least Portsmouth tried to buy success, Leeds fans have had the mickey taken out of them for years and the FL just sat back and watched whilst Elland Road burned and the fans have paid the price - All I say is beware Coventry's lesson!

the FL know that with our away following a lot of the smaller clubs will prosper, we take near enough 3-4 k virtually every away game...imo there is only one man to blame for our demise....and it ain't ridsdale although some of our fans will disagree with me...as for the FL the chief exec was a former board at leeds....need i say more, we have been mistreated by owners and board management for years....so it begs the question as to why no decent businessmen will look at leeds...apparently we've been attracting chancers according to a cockroach.....who said the club wouldn't go to chancers, guess what we got ??....

I was watching one of the sky sports reruns of the 2009 season. After 4 games it showed the lower half of the table and only Everton remain in the PL.

Wigan, Blackburn, Bolton, Fulham, Portsmouth off the top of my head.

In most cases those teams are really in the drizzle.

"we take near enough 3-4 k virtually every away game."

As some of you know, I was at the recent Charlton game, where I believe we had 3,100 fans.

The facilities at Charlton were very lacking in the away end. The toilets were insufficient in size and the food area could not accommodate us. I thought I would be smart about and get something to eat after halftime. Ten minutes into the second half, I went out of the stand and the shop was already closed.

Based on that, in my opinion Charlton did not take full advantage of the economic opportunity presented to them.

What do the rest of the clubs do to take advantage of the bump in number of fans when Leeds United is in town.

I get it that the home club makes an additional few thousand pounds in gate money. Is it that big of a deal to make an additional £5-10k in revenue on the day? What about lost revenue because more Leeds games are televised?

The only man who did a proper job of destroying Leeds so far begins with a "B" and ends in "ates".

Hmmm I thought about doing a nob gag, but didn't want to stereotype our African American Leeds fans.

The term big nobs has long been used, frequently when referring to powerful people, government ministers, royalty etc. Cellino probably believes he's a big nob, while many Leeds fans might prefer nob head in his case.

Oh dear, we are down to toilet humor eh?

To clarify, the length of the urinal trough and 2 stalls were insufficient for 3,100 fans.

The size of my, ahem, chap is not relevant to the comment but my lady friends have never complained.
