2 weeks time Scouse but no bonus for the next shift though
When was the last time we had 47 points at half-time in the Championship, (or whats the closest to that total)?
Not a bad look to the league tables if you live in the East Midlands: Fester and Derby top and Burton second!
Top of the league!!

....and when Andy Reid gets fit again for Forest could we be becoming the epicentre of world football again?
Just back.
We don't half labour against some teams . In fairness Fulham should have been 1 up against a strangely hesitant Derby. They are 18th and the slightly worrying aspect is that we let them look far better than a team struggling near the relegation places.
Ross McCormack played very well, is he putting himself in the Derby County shop window?
In the end we won 2-0, I'm not being negative but we really need to be more assertive against the likes of Fulham and not leave fans gnawing their nails down to the quick.
They could easily have been in the lead - we had one shot on target throughout the whole game
Thank you for taking the time to post a report View, when you could so easily be having a restorative cuppa.
At least I appreciate your efforts
Don't worry Heb, the restorative cuppa was the priority

We didn't play that well today and the only thing I could see, was that it was obvious why Fulham have conceded more goals than any other team. None of the forwards seemed to be on form despite being given numerous opportunities. Hope they are more hungry against Leeds and Boro.
The weather has ruined my script as well. We weren't supposed to hit the top until the Boro game.
....and when Andy Reid gets fit again for Forest could we be becoming the epicentre of world football again?
That would only be because of his enormous gravitaional field which makes objects orbit him.
Do you not like fat people Spart?
It's about the only thing in which I am in agreement with Katie Hopkins. Self inflicted wounds draining the health service, what is more they stink in hot weather. Apart from that I have nothing against them.
I'm not as down on the performance as some. I thought there were some good performances today. Fulham have scored plenty of goals this season and you can see why. They carry plenty of threat. I have always liked McCormack and he was class today. I would be delighted to see him in a Derby shirt. Defensively Fulham looked vulnerable and I thought it was a day when Bent might have been more dangerous than Martin, playing on the last man.
Christie excellent, centre-halves excellent, Warnock excellent. Ince looked like he was going to get a bagful but kept getting the final decision wrong. Overall a decent win against a team that will nick a few points if they play like that and keep hold of McCormack.
We had three offsides given when we beat their defence even though I thought everyone was onside. That didn't help our cause.
It does feel a bit familiar to last season: top of the league but fans moaning that we haven't hit top gear yet.
Hopefully, we'll not stall it this time when trying to do so.
We went top of the league and then lost two away games on the trot, to Leeds and Boro. Here's hoping for no repeat.
Defensively we look a very solid unit which was not the case last year, obviously in part because of an inability to play a settled back four. It is very difficult to see us conceding many goals. We have 8 clean sheets in the last 10 games. Our main difficulty this season has been in picking a way through against a packed defence. We haven't really got a magic man who can do something unexpected in the final third. Maybe we will address this but even if not we are not going to lose many games. If in most games we do not concede, and in most games we score at least one, then even by Strett's maths we are going to stand a great chance of accumulating plenty of points.
Agreed Vidals even with an injury to Keogh or Shackell we have a midfield that can tackle and know how to manage a game defensively, so it would be hard to see us stalling as spectacularly as last year.
How quickly we work on the attacking third will be interesting. There's definitely signs of it coming together slowly. Depends how patient the club is with the progression, in terms of speeding it up it might come with personnel change loans or yet more signings, Hughes in this team would be interesting to see but not sure how realistic that is this season, Bent leading the line with Ince more central and Russell and Weimann as well is an option/alternative.
McCormack would be tasty but think that might put us into Forest embargo territory.
I would trade in Bent for McCormack if Fulham are willing to do a deal and then get in one more striker with a bit of pace, say a Gayle or a Grabban on loan. That gives us loads of striking options.
Will would have pished the premiership this year, they can't defend we can......
anyway back to the Whisky!
Paddy Bamford not doing too well though....
I'm gonna stick with Dazza n Chris for this season n work on an attacking midfielder for the wide positions just haven't worked out who yet?
I think I will trust Paul Clement to pick the team and formations.
I still say Ince should play more in the centre though, rather than out wide. Gives him more room to manoevre. When playing wide he either runs across the front of goal and tries the curler to the far corner or tries to beat his man on the outside at which he seldom succeeds. When running in the traditional inside forward poition he is much better at beating his man.
Great atmosphere again and really pleased they turned off that awful loud music just before kickoff to allow the noise to build.
We won ....that is all !
Apart from announcing that I will be adopting Shackell and Keogh # Theartofdefending
