I've always thought it was a difficult decision from your point of view. After all, there remains a strong risk that he'd leave for nothing next summer, but his goals could be what keeps you in the division. I hope you credit him for his loyalty - without meaning to sound snotty, he would have got a bigger wage packet here, but it's not like he's been banging at the door demanding a transfer. Good luck to you and him this season, and from our view I only hope the Beckford transfer goes through.

It's actually not sour grapes when LCFC fans say that Ryan McG was pretty woeful Lacy-Boy as he was.

But to be fair he was only a young lad when we had him on loan and surely Man City must see something in him to keep him on? You might get a more up to date view from the Palace fans.
