LCFC sign Marhez replacement?

Gray does indeed look like a like for like replacement for Mahrez, so could be a replacement as I don't think we will be able to keep Riyad in the summer.

In regards to his recent performances I don't think his head has been turned, just looks knackered to me.

Get that spoon out the pot

He deserves fans who can spell his name correctly.

I think he'll be off in the summer, no sooner.

HenrysCat, I think it'd be more of an insult if Nev had spelt his name correctly.

I don't see Gray as a replacement for Mahrez as such because I don't think it's that easy to replace Mahrez - we'll just have to live without him if/when he goes. From what I've heard so far, Gray sounds more like a replacement for Dyer.

As for Mahrez's form, I think it's taken a dip ever since Mourinho went to great pains to point out what he does. Ever since, managers have made sure to have a midfielder sit alongside their full back waiting for Mahrez to cut inside. Considering we have little goalscoring threat from the centre of midfield, this tactic doesn't come at a great cost as the midfielder in question can afford to leave Drinkwater or Kante free. It requires discipline to do this so I can't imagine this is the end of Mahrez, however it does make life more difficult for him and it means that he'll need to be aware of this tactic. He should be prepared to either go on his right foot more or take less touches on the ball when his route is blocked.

Not a replacement for Mahrez just another option.

I don't think Mahrez will leave either if we qualify for Europe, which we should. If he continues to shine we will qualify for the CL and then he's staying.

I think his performance wasn't slick because his hair wasn't, it was fluffy and he performed like it too.

Been saying for ages that Mahrez would leave your lot

He's going nowhere this window

I highly doubt he will go anywhere for at least 18 months. Everyone is well pessimistic and opposition fans just pray because they don't like us having top quality players.

We will qualify for Europe and he will stay to play in Europe with us. If anyone thinks he will leave for another club playing in Europe then I'd suggest you're not really thinking about it. Not everyone cares about money either.

Ighalo turned down Atletico to stay at Watford. It seems team spirit and enjoying your football is enough for some players. Mahrez is happy in Leicester and he wont go anywhere while we're still building.

Oh, well, end of discussion then

arro when you say Europe are you talking about CL?

Let's be clear, if we only qualify for the Europa league, then he's off if a CL club comes calling

He won't go anywhere once your owners show him the new 120,000 stadium plans

Do you think Ighalo will turn down Arsenal?

Sorry wrong striker linked. But the question still stands..

Deeney to Arsenal though

Could you name a player that suits Arsenal any less than Troy Deeney?

i dont think he will go in the january transfer window but summer might be different.lets be honest players go where they want or have a pick..big clubs sometimes lose their best players reluctently. man und-ronaldo ,liverpool-suarez. spurs- bale berbatov .and man city have had a pick at arsenal over the last few seasons why on earth should leicester be different. lets just keep our fingers crossed and hope that all the targeted players will be happy with improved contracts.

If Mahrez does leave in the summer I hope its to play. I'd hate us to lose a top player to go and be a bit part player for someone

He'd do a good job off the bench for us

Last 10 mins when the other team are knackered.
