The owners indecisiveness in the summer does seem to have haunted them this season. The players haven't been given a pre season to get used to klopp's training methods, plus they are Brendan's signings.
If Brendan was gone in summer Klopp wouldn't be managing Liverpool.
Wonder how many will back if we get Wembley 😀
Amazing what a final can do for hammy, now aim not saying ....
I think Klopp will have to lessen the intensity in training (if it is being done at high pacce). I think the number of games has genuinely shocked him and he will have to find away to implement his style of play. I think if we had a proper fit sharp shooter we could score quickly and then rest like we did versus Southampton. But without that at the moment we are having to go full pelt whole game.
And GB please do not do any we going to win the league/cup articles please. Don't jinx it dude!

And they never would have done, Klopp wasn't available in the summer. I'm more than happy with the way things were done, as any other scenario would have meant we wouldn't have Klopp now. That is the key for me. Players schmayers.
Goofy..we aint going to win anything this season!
Anyone no his hamstring record in Germany, or is it just really wet pitches lately and luck

Can you predict us to lose every game until the end of the season thank you.
Wir....i dont think klopp has had a hammy strain
Only player I can think of is Reus. Most of his squad remained fit. Nothing to do with Klopp. It's just bad luck.
Sakho and Lovren have been in and out of the side with muscles injuries
Hendo, Ings and Gomez were injured before klopp
Sturridge is a special case
Coutinho and Origi are the new cases under Klopp.
It is good Klopp has this season so he can asses which players are up to the standard he wants.
Those players who are not good enough will be sold.

Was thinking just this when Souness was waffling on after the game.

Makes me laugh that he suggests training methods and suddenly everyone agrees. Despite the fact that he routinely makes as much sense as Merson.

Did he? Well he should know, as if memory serves we had massive injury problems due to a change in training when he took over from Kenny!
Gammy Hammyitis is a bit ch

Looks like there is no intense training sessions then! I was wondering if there was. Looks like.it is just damn bad luck.

Most clubs, many players and fans complain about the number of games each year as a major reason for so many injuries. Do we really need a two game semi-final for the league cup???
Yeah the two legs is stupid.
Trouble is though, the FA would force a one leg semi to be at Wembley, which is just as stupid
A number of points.
When Souness came down from Rangers to manage, I got a call the same day from up north and was told, " He's taking Phil Boersma with him, watch the number of Achilles heel injuries your team will suffer." Not wide of the mark at all.
Souness is highly rated by the TV moguls, he never makes notes, speaks from the heart, and, it appears true, everyone hangs on his words, his views never challenged. But, as was especially proved last night, he's only human, and he got it wrong. No mea culpa though, no apology.
Where? Before the game started he had written off both Joe and Lucas. LFC were there for the taking, they were to be beaten last night, no question. Neither player had it in them to stop the Stokey mighty front four, especially Allen. Deariemewhatashamenevermind.
It's nice to see the controlled, if I can put it that way, joy of last night's win. We are still a long way from Anfield South. And, Stoke cannot play as badly as they did last night.
Just a few thoughts.

Imagine that, a pundit you don't agree with.
Great player, great pundit.
Klopp defo introduced double training sessions but as righteous said last night we're playing that many games that I cannot imagine we're actually training huge amounts.
It's running 12k every three days with a squad of about 16. Being in the Europa and league cup semi's is hurting us just as it did last season.
im not sure how the pressing would really effect the CBs, obviously they have to move with the team but they aren't going to have to charge down the ball loads on long sprints, just the usual runs when a ball gets played through, or am i getting this completely wrong?
It's a fair point Adam and I really don't know what the answer is.
I think we have played more football than any other team in the prem this season though. Maybe it's just that??
