To be fair there's no reason for Vardy to go chasing the big money if Arro gets in touch letting him know he can sell holidays on the side for big bucks, so no reason he wouldn't leave Leicester

I've enjoyed the Vardy run, but it does seem kinda demeaning to the PL that he holds that record now, given he's such an average player.

Hope it doesn't last too long

12 consecutive appearances would constitute a Danny's Having a Party run!!

Hopefully Messi joins Pep at City next season and a proper footballer sets the record again

So let's get this straight, and English man (part time male escort) living in Brisbane with no ties to Leicester City apart from he supports them say's that Jamie Vardy won't leave Leicester

I'm an Englishman from Leicester for a start

First started going down in 1979/80 when I was three and until I was 17 I only missed three home games, two against West Ham and one against Chelsea in the 80's because it was too dangerous for me to go down!

I played for Leicester from 10-16 before an Achilles tendon tear against FC Koln on a tour in Germany ended my Leicester career. I was injured when my contract was due to be renewed and the physios said I would probably wouldn't be the same because it was a bad injury for a player whose body is still growing and there was no guarantee it would heel perfectly and that was that

Luckily that was the last game in the tournament and I was also lucky enough to have played and scored against Borussia Dortmund and Borussia Monchengladbach.

I used to play left wing and no.9, I was small, rapid and scored loads of goals. When I played non-league I played like Vardy, not the best ability wise but worked really hard. I can deliver a decent ball and with both feet too! I played on the shoulder of the last defender and used my pace to get in behind, loved one on one's. I used to love winding the opposition up and took the piiiss because I was too fast for them and every time I was fouled I just got up and laughed.

Dunge has played football with me and he'll be the first to say I'm a very good finisher and that I love balls in behind. He's set me up a few times with clearances over the top from defence.

Pretty sure I scored a sweet goal against Spurs in the 606 cup actually, the keeper fluffed his kick and it came straight to me at knee height about five yards to the right of the centre circle and I adjusted my body and hit it first time on the side volley with my left peg and it whistled past the stranded keeper. Think we lost in the end but that put us 1-0 up. Unfortunately our defence wasn't as good as our attack hey Dunge ha ha

No because I'm too old.

Honestly I don't know what would have happened. I was told I wouldn't make it because I was too small and at 16 I was only 5'2". My two assets were my pace and my ability to score goals. I was very direct and as soon as the ball was played in behind nobody was catching me.

I scored six against Walsall in the snow, one overhead kick from 8 yards, a diving header at the back post and four one on ones. I was put in for my 7th, went round the keeper again and tried to hit it off the inside of the post and put it out for a throw ha ha everyone laughed including me and I just put my arms up and said "oh well, I've already scored six". We won 10-3.

so you made no real difference, would have won 4-3 without you.

in the pros you would have easily been pushed off the ball at that height, didn't realise you were so small it explains the needs for recognition

I'm 6'1" now. Stopped growing when I was 21 so I would have been fine!
