You grew from 5'2" to 6'1" in 5 years!?

There certainly is an element of short man syndrome to Arro's posts, which is odd as the pictures give off more of a homosexual man syndrome vibe

Yep! Don't you believe that either?

Cue a load of comments about how the humam body can't grow 9" after the age of 16

This thread just keeps on giving.

I have a cousin five years older and he was the same, he's 6ft now and I always believed the same would happen to me and it did!

Small man syndrome ha ha ever since I've been a man I've not been short

posted on 9/1/16

Well it's just a bit odd arro considering the fact that boys tend to reach very close to their adult height when they reach puberty which is around 16 years of age.

Are you sure you were as small as 5"2 at 16!?

This kind of growth pattern would make you a scientific wonder

No but you still seem to have small man syndrome in that you seem out for an argument all the time as well as always having a point to prove

Arro, I think what you've missed on this thread all along is not the fact that we don't think your life has been amazing, incredible and better than everyone else's. But it's the fact that the details don't always add up.

I don't think you're lying, I just think in your hurry to type your life experience, you get the odd detail wrong, which opens you up to being challenged

Yes I'm absolutely positive, funnily enough I know me, my body, how it developed and at what rate. I was living in this body at the time!

Martin Johnson came back from NZ at 19 and took us for PE when I was 15. I megged him there times and said "you might be able to play rugby but you can't teach me to play football". His mum was our PE teacher and she got suspended for drink driving so Martin took the lesson. I reminded him years later in Loaf in Brauny Gate when he was in there with the Tigers players and one of my schoolmates played prop and he remembered so we reminded him. He said nothing and just looked down at me and turned away the miserable b@stard!

It's not that I'm getting details wrong, people are misinterpreting what I say and then draw their own incorrect conclusion!

Like when I said I made over $6k comm on a booking, I didn't say that went into my pocket, I made $6k comm for the company and never tried to suggest I made it personally but people jumped to the wrong conclusion!

So no its not that the details are wrong, you just don't understand and hate your own preconceived ideas!

Let me guess - needless to say you had the last laugh

The only explanation for such a strange growth spurt after 16 is that you didn't hit puberty until 21.

Looking online, a dramatic spurt in height after 16 in men is described as around 3-4 inches and this kind of growth is generally unheard of.

Could it be the fact you're not explaining yourself very well rather than nearly EVERYONE else not reading your posts properly

The commission one is a prime example

Well what can I say, I must be an anomaly

When I was at high school, I was half an inch taller than my mate and he was 5'1.5". Do you need me to get mated on Facebook to remember back to how small I was and then provide you with my licence to show how tall I am now

Get over it BS!

posted on 9/1/16

of course not arro. If you didn't reach puberty until 21 that's fine, it's nothing to get embarrassed about.

I work everyday saying we made x amount on a booking and normally don't have to explain it so forgive me for forgetting that I'm talking to people that don't get it

Arro you didn't say 'we' you said 'I' as in 'I made 6k commission'

You can't blame people who don't have the required IQ to ever be a travel agent for thinking this sentence meant you took 6k home

I lost my virginity in Ibiza when I was 18 had I had a proper nob and bollox with hair and everything then but yes I was a late developer but at 16 everything was as it should have been. I had lads in my class with facial hair and hairy chests at 13/14 but then I had nothing!

arro, this just isn't adding up. Do you have any photos that can verify this? Obviously Nob and Bollox ones will be required

That's because there was no "we", I made the comm for the company nobody else so no "we"!

What I said is absolutely correct all day everyday in mu job because we know what we're talking about! I neglected to think about that as what I said is normal!

I've worked in sales for years though. I only talk about commission as a bonus I take home from a sale. So if I made £500 commission, that goes in my pocket. That's where the confusion arose from your original post.

Like I said, we're not qualified travel agents we don't have an IQ of 142
