I read somewhere that newcadtle had a bid of £22m accepted by lyon for lacazette but he turned down the move, if that's true we should bid for him

Doesn't want to leave and jeopardise his France place.

so its once in a generation now? before it was once ever opportunity…

furthermore, of the 7 players we bought with the money, 2 have been clear successes, 1 is slowly realising his potential, and the other 4 were sold off and we recouped most of what we paid

now… QPR? 12 mill for samba
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Recouped most of what you paid O dear the dellusion continues mate sorry. You sold soldado for a tiny amount didnt you

Right if spurs are unsure about berahino then fine let's move on. Why are we stalling and dithering as per usual? This has levy last minute bullsh** written all over it. If we are not sure if he will have the right attitude then let's just go one the next target. I will be severely pi*** off if we are chasing berahino all window only to change our mind at the last minute resulting in us getting no one

Berahino is a cant, a stupid cant at that. We want you lot to take him out of our dressing room like yesterday.

The sulking cant is big trouble - late for training, snorting stuff, thinks he's the best thing football ever produced, upsets team-mates to the extent of brawling with them. Tony Pulis is a hard nosed bar steward and he's even had enough of the cant.

Trouble is who will buy the fecker as unless he gets his own way the cant starts up trouble with a capital T. Thick twot.

Can't understand why Dorothy (aka Don) wants him so badly. You should have been given him in August.

Let's have a look at purchase prices compared to sell on prices/current value:

Nacer Chadli - Bought: £7 million, Value Now: £10 million
Roberto Soldado - Bought: £15 million (Add ons hardly triggered), Sold: £10 million
Paulinho - Bought: £17 million, Sold: £10 million
Etienne Capoue - Bought: £8 million, Sold: £6.5 million
Christian Eriksen - Bought: £11 million, Value: £20 million
Erik Lamela - Bought £27 million, Value: £15 million
Vlad Chiriches - Bought £6.5 million, Sold: £4.5 million

I make that around £15 million in the red. That's not horrendous for a £100 million splurge. You then have to realise that whilst Soldado was a failed signing, it paved the way for Kane to develop into the striker he is today. His value now would be upwards of £30 million which instantly sends us into the green.

That's without considering the value of the other players who have built first team careers as a result of poor performances from some of those signings, notably Eric Dier, Ryan Mason and Nabil Bentaleb.

Considering our low wage bill on these signings too, I'd consider that window a success in the long-term. How did paying Samba and Bosingwa £100k a week each pan out for you guys?

You have come on here critisizing our signings that we made with the Bale money, yes 4 of the signings flopped - Soldado, Paulinho, Capoue and Chiriches bit Eriksen, Chadli and Lamela were top class purchases.

Im not saying Lamela is worth the £26m we spent on him but he has dramatically improved and is a first team regular within an excellent side.

You criticise these signings as a waste of money but how about Alderweireld bought for £11m who we could sell tomorrow for £20m, Dele Alli bought for £5m who is the most exciting teenager in the premier league and Eric Dier bought for a few million who has been a revelation this season.

You enjoy trying to stay in the championship while we strive for champions league.........

Tblot.............................................trying to engage with the big boys instead of other Championship sides.
His club are in financial trouble & now need to offload Robert Green as they cannot afford his wages, because they are in danger of dropping into League 1
