Spot on. I posted the same results earlier. We also beat Wigan 4-0 home and away too in the title winning season.
Does LVG even do 4-0 wins?
Its an insult to say that LVGs boreball is anything near SAFs final two seasons.
Sorry, I've just got in and didn't read that.
Yeah agree with this.
2011 at home we were good, it was away we were shiiiiiit. We only won five games away from home that season and kept having loads of boring draws. Think we won like 18 out of 19 at Old Trafford.
We weren't great in Ferguson's last season, but it was nothing like this.
We were spoilt under Ferguson that what we considered rubbish under him most would cream their pants under LVG.
Expectations are so low that Heisenberk is happy to eat dogsh-t as well as write it.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Like I say, it was sort of a season of two halves for me. I think we were in second gear in the league after Christmas. Two really good games against Madrid, though. And who could forget that 5-5 draw at the Hawthorns?
I think we play a more complete game under LVG.
Robb, I rate you as a poster, but give it a rest with the anti LvG. I don't like how we are playing and have said who I would like as our next manager.
But now you seem to be stuck on one topic, and are endlessly looking for any stat or opinions that will agree with how you feel.
We all know you want LvG gone so just leave it at that,at least for a while.
Our drop in attacking form coincided with Vidic's return.
We were defending a lot deeper and RVP become a lot more isolated and played further away from goal.
It's why we kept getting penned in and had to grind out results because our counter attacking wasn't very good.
Prior to that we were scoring for fun but our defence was all over the place with Evra, Evans and Rio looking like the three stooges.
It wasn't the prettiest football but was far more exciting as you just knew we could outscore teams, even right at the death.
This is no longer the case and the football is a lot more dull.
Whoever thinks this football we are playing is any way comparable to Fergie's last few seasons is just disrespecting the great man completely. They ain't a fan of United.

I remember that now. Wasn't that the year we were unbeaten till February?
We had two shots on target against a league one side at home. One a penalty and one a scuffed shot. That would never ever happen under SAF

We also had a fairly limited midfield in terms of flair. You'd have, say, Young, Carrick, Cleverley and Valencia, all effective in their own ways but not really thrilling as a foursome.
Yeah we went something like 20 odd games unbeaten from the start. Lost to Wolves I believe.

We were dreadful against Crawley, to be fair!
Yep definitely, Clockwork.
Goes to show what a difference a top striker can make to a team, though.
We don't have anyone in that bracket up top, or even at the level Rooney was at prior to that season.

Crawley even had more total shots then us Thats why I say LVG side is more complete domination vs SAF sides who knew how to get the job done and react better to situations.
Yeah and look at that facking starting lineup. Bebe and Obertan on the wings.
We had our first team out against Sheffield United pretty much. Not just that but we had a ground almost praying for a reason to get behind the side.
Instead we had about as much urgency as Mel Gibson has to attend a Bar Mitzvah this year.
Watched Maverick yesterday. Classic Mel Gibson.
I remember when we got outclassed completely in 2010/11 final by Barcelona and dreamed us being able to have stats like that as in making the opposition pretty much disappear attacking and we just attack all game and when we lose it we win it back pressing high and now under LVG we do that its like a dream so I prefer this Man Utd then the one we had to the later SAF era. SAF had more firepower but also relied on DDG far more.
It really is a joy to watch us under LVG ain't it Hafi, those passes in our own half, stunning.
BTW in 2010-11 CL final Van Der Saar was amazing overall. Felt sorry for him and Hernandnez + Carrick as they virtually were alone to fend for themselves.
Friendly game even with kidds 2nd half we play the LVG way.
