Wonder what the asking price is?

And good luck to him

He'll be missed. But he's ready for the PL.
Obviously.

Seen it rumoured around £3million, no idea if true.

I'm in two minds about this. Obviously like him as a Leeds lad, and he his first season was fantastic. We are never going to go anywhere selling our best players.

But he hasn't played right back properly for over a year now, and I'm bored of seeing him at right wing as he struggles there. Guarantee he will not play on the wing for Everton.

Asking price was reported to be about £5m.

Best, they bought him specifically to cover Coleman's injury. Under Martinez he'll only get better.

That's what I read Stoopo. Offering 3. MC wanted 5.
He probably sold for 4.

And a bag of Everton Mints

Shame we're losing him, but good luck to the lad, he deserves his chance

Will be loads of adds on with deal

Everton are one of the worst for it.

Will be low upfront free, yet will be reported as £5m

Same has Ross deal, reported has 11m but nowhere because all the add ons haven't been hit

Rather him go there than Norwich.

Good luck Sam, all the best.

That's a right back and left back they had from us over last few years.

Fooking rubbish being a feeder club.

He's more than likely gone for a lot more than experts on here said he would.

According to the Express........................"The fee would start at £3m and terms now need to be discussed with the player."

Right, being told value of bid is close to £4m, plus incentives. #lufc

£3m paid over four years

Perfect choice of club, he ll do well their, young side, good football, up north still. Cant say I blame him. Will be like LIW said, probably a couple up front and add ons for appearances etc. Would have liked us to have swapped him for someone though.

Is he any good? What's his best position and strengths?

posted on 14/1/16

He is going from playing alongside Bamba to Jon Stones and his striker will be Lukaku not Doukara... Not a bad gig.

As for the bid...incentives will be the spine of this transfer.

Big dunc

Full back, good technical ability so can play in different roles

If he ends up been first choice for you guys, you'll be struggling

But likable lad, won't ever let you down with good attitude.

Decent signing for you.

But don't be expecting John stones standard

Hahaha when you put it like that mike.

Cellino said in May he wouldn't be selling the youth, this is just the start, no different to previous owners.

Let's just hope we don't have to listen to Cellino and Evans putting him down now.

Good luck Sam.

I will ask the question, does anyone think Byram was worth £12k a week let alone anymore, if the answer is no then that explains why he is going, RB not midfield or striker, we have a good RB plus a fine prospect, sorry to see him go but good business if the fee is correct and of course the 64000 dollar question will it be invested in the team, anyone remember Simons pot.
