I'm guessing the song is to do with Liverpool's victim mentality as a club...As evidenced in this article
Knotty, as a Celtic fan know something of songs that shouldn't be sung
If it does refer to Hillsborough then that is just wrong, only they will truly know though
It does not refer to Hillsborough

It does refer to Hillsborough. Just shows the mentality of their fans
Liverpool always have the moral low ground
Knotty you know this as a Utd fan? Right?
Pathetic attempt at deflecting from defeat.
I'm guessing the Munich chants are better right?
It has references to the Suarez case, Michael Shields Case and Heysel. But you wouldn't mention those. You never do.
Your only bringing this up cus you lost.
And your the 'fans' with the famous Munich song.

Brilliant response wondered how long it would take before that came up. Everyone knows it's about Hillsborough which is why a few of you tried to deflect it as a song about Suarez. Same as the sun was right song.
Always hear Hillsborough smears, never hear Munich chants. Simple.
What is at the core of the chant? Stop being victims and take responsibility for things.
I can point to quire a few things you know.
This article is another example

The problem is your hearing my good man
The core of the chant is about Hillsborough.
what about Heysel. It's only been sung since 1989.
The chant is more to do with Heysel.

We were told it was about Luis Suarez just after you sung it when the truth came out
Even if the chant incorporated Hillsborough, it has only come to light that you were not blameless
However we still have Heysel, the defending and endorsement of racist abuse and other things you done over the years
When you guys chant Munich, it is very specific wouldn't you agree?
OP-you're certainly doing your hardest to give the chant legitimacy with your victim mentality on this article

In that game. Yes. You defended racist abuse and tried to make out you were the victims not the actual victim
Evra
It is unfortunate that it's is how you deal with losing today
Go have a pint
Another scouser playing the victim....you could not make it up,let people rest in peace and stop using the innocent dead to start a row.

As a regular I haven't heard a Munich song at the match for ages. I have heard the Utd fans sing about Hillsborough quite often, even at a youth team match.
Did the chant stop your team from scoring?
