And DJ the reason I want Walcott starting again, is because Giroud is STILL likely to score coming on to close out the game. Walcott may be struggling to find his touch but he hasn't lost his exceptional movement. It was the MOVEMENT that was making the overwhelming difference and with Ozil creating and insane amount of chances. With Walcott starting and Giroud coming on, we were getting the best of both worlds and more importantly, the best out of both players.
We also weren't risking being stuck with no CF because the two players get injured because both are on the pitch for most of the game.

The only problem at the moment is one is in form and the other player isnt. That's all.
WB, I agree with that. I'd even go as far as to say I see Girouds chances of scoring as being about the same if he plays 90 mins or the last 20. Walcott would in the other 70mins have a chance of scoring, would push their players back and tire them out. Both would have less chance of injury as well.

And maybe you are too busy being a pillock to realise that I'm more than capable of recognising a sarcastic tongue in cheek comment on a thread. And instead of being fixated on that one extreme comment recognise that what I'm actually annoyed by is the wider issue of people now stripping Walcott of credit they've already given him for being able to do certain things whilst simultaneously performing the same U-turn over Giroud's value to the team/title race.
If you actually bothered to read the long-winded posts you claim are full of nothing then you might actually realise what I'm talking about
I really have to disagree with you WBG. The most important players in our team at the moment are Özil, Cech and Giroud. Without them we wouldnt been where we are.
That is the problem the manager has. Drop an in form player for an out of form player is a huge risk for anyone.
The injuries do not help Mr Wenger either, with our recent options the choices he has made seem no-brainers.
The only people that're an embarrassment to the club are the supporters that go to home or away games and either are quiet as fck, or are chanting extremely disgusting chants etc...
Not fans that continually contradict themselves on certain players. There is actually a thing called 'form' where as people might completely change their minds on Giroud and Walcott. That's not being two-faced.
In summary:
A. These people are not an embarrassment to the club
B. Stop being so sensitive to others people changing opinions
Or maybe Giroud has gone up a level this season and Walcott has gone no where.

Just another thing about your article, if criticism on players' form is embarrassing to the club, then every club has embarrassments.
Let's not pretend Walcott, goal against Man City aside, hasn't been horrendous going forward. He's applied himself a bit more going back, but that's it.
If the manager starts Theo when Sanchez returns, then fine. He must have seen something in training, cos' we sure as hell haven't in the games.

Where have I said criticising player form is an embarrassment to the club. Jesus, I even stated, I'm not on about "Form" I'm talking abouth the core abilities of a player. Example. What's happening with Walcott is tantamount Ozil getting injured, coming back and not getting an assist in 6 games and people turning around and saying "Ozil was always rubbish really and he can't pass to save his life."
As the saying goes, form is temporary, class is permanent. And I'm tired of watching fans on this board strip a player of the respect his class deserves due to a poor run in form. Other teams fans criticise poor form, whilst recognising it is temporary . Only ours use a few matches of poor form to totally devalue a player's entire contribution to the club.
And if you don't get what I'm on about after that explanation then just move on as you're just not bright enough to understand
CED
I don't mind changing opinion. It's the polar opposite's in the changing opinions according to who is scoring rubbish, I have a problem with.
Walcott is still our best CF (IMO), not purely on his ability but what he brings out in others.
Agreed Science
It's the combination of Walcott with other players, primarily Ozil and the overall effect of his freedom of movement when in the middle. Giroud just cannot pull a whole back line everywhere the way Walcott can and Theo can. Our team surviving with Giroud but it thrives with Walcott.
But this is easily Ozils best season... Walcott has started 8 games as the striker, Giroud 23!
True DJ but for me, Ozil still looks better when playing behind Walcott.
DJ
You have got to ask the question, would Giroud have started 23 if Walcott hadn't gotten injured? I say no, though funnily enough going by the first part of the season, I think Giroud would still have at least 15 goals now, if not more. He was coming on and capitalising on defenders whom never had enough energy left because they were knackered from chasing Theo It was ace, he'd just come on and get some easy goal.
As you say this is the best of Ozil so far, I'd like to try to maximise our return on his form. That can't be done with Giroud up top. It's not like Giroud can't be brought on and Walcott switched right if it doesn't appear to be working.
I have never once said Theo is a good player. Most overrated player at Arsenal ever. Nothing will change my mind. Why ? because he still cant control a football and has no composure. He is not the answer to anything.
