yeah its a LW title fight...imagine RDA trying to cut to 145
The two belts were never in question. It's just Conor telling Dana and uncle Frank how it's going to be, with the both obliging their cash cow.
Whos the next in line at LW?
Cant blame them for cashing in while they can...CM is good for business and why not milk him for all he's worth until he gets dry humped for 5 rounds at some point.

Alvarez has struggled since he joined the UFC i think...I know hes always in close matchups but he wouldnt be my choice.
Ferguson has been on a tear recently...id like him to have a pop, very talented.
RDA v Ferguson would have to be co-main or a Fight Night hedliner imo...not very marketable.
McGregor is finally showing other fighters that if you have "it" then you can use "it" to your advantage.
I do agree that CM should have defended his FW belt at least once (Franke Edgar) and RDA/Ferguson on the same card...CM V RDA if they both won.
RDA calling out CM last time out obviously helped his cause...they all want that payday...break out the red panties.
Little heads up the threads title guv:
The Las Vegas-based promotion announced on Wednesday that UFC 196 will now be known as UFC Fight Night, therefore the Conor vs RDA will now be the UFC 196 card

By all accounts, Dana should have left him at Legacy Fighting Championship for a year or so as the UFC is a damn hard league to learn his trade in.
nothing about Thompson smashing JH up?!
Anyone watch it?

very impressive mate.
Hendricks was posting pics of his weight cut a week out showing he was having no issues with getting to 170 still (after his recent misses)
Not seen much of Thompson prior to this, only bits...but was really impressed with his destruction of him.

If there was ever a free flowing fighter like CM in the UFC, then it's Thompson. Great feet and another one that rates timing over power.

Hendricks should move up because the weight cut isn't helping him

This! He could be a beast at MW.
Sad news about Kevin Randleman if the reports are true!

certainly is, fought 'em all.
Probably best known for dropping Fedor on the point of his head then being tapped out within about 15 seconds
Hi lads, quick heads up that there's an interesting looking Bellator event this coming weekend, featuring amongst others Ken Shamrock v Royce Gracie & the one and only Kimbo Slice
In the UK the event is avail on Spike, sky channel 160 @ 10pm.
