I'm tired that went over my head.
Yeah that's true, not surprising given he was effectively brought up at Arsenal.
I think Mourinho probably thought he could shake that out of him. Turns out he couldn't and now Cesc looks broken.
Think he needs to leave the league. He's only 28 so still has years left but I'm not sure he's cut out to do it at the highest level in the prem any more.
I reckon Pique only done that to wum Mourinho for not signing him.

Its not just the English hyping Stones. Gerard Pique did a world 11 and put Stones in it.
Add to that Jose going to war with Chelsea to sign Stones this summer and you have some of the biggest names in football believing in Stones and what he can bring to a side.
I rate the OP of this article a lot but these kind of articles are pointless because they are the flipside of what he's arguing. For everyone that over hypes a player there is someone wanting to bring them down a peg or two when in reality neither side is in any position to correctly tell the future regarding Stones.

Fair comment from you there Robb.
I haven't been on a long while so was going for a more lighthearted and less serious article, rather than the intense and gloomy topics that have been clouding our club of late

If you want something to cheer you up then put a ton on it being 0-0 at half time on Saturday!
Robb, I doubt the bookies would offer inviting and tempting odds on such a formality
For the record it's 3/1 for it to be a draw at half time and then United go on and win it.

It's ok Dazza.
I thought the Ramires being the black Roy Keane would have gave it away mate
We all make mistakes, ask my mother.
Grealish
Mane
Costa
Sterling
Eriksen
All overrated
Robb I'm not comfortable with the second part of that bet.
Southampton always seem to turn into Barca circa 2009 when they play us.
Yeah,I can see them sitting back and then Mane destroying us on the break.
It would be funny if it wasn't so damned predictable.
I have to say, Van Gaal has really sucked the life and enjoyment out of our matches.
It's just taken some longer than others to reach breaking point and I stood behind him for a while, but as soon as top 4 looks hard to achieve then he has to go.
The aim for this season was a title challenge and a trophy of some sort and he has failed miserably. We have regressed from last season and that should not be tolerated.
Hopefully we will win one of or both of the cup competitions we are in and cement our place in the top 4, but even if this were to happen, for the sanity of myself and thousands of others, Louis has to leave at the end of the season and we must put on our sharpest suit and wear our most expensive Cologne to woo Pep.
Black Keane I missed that bit.
Our games with Southampton have been strange. We got dominated at their place last season and somehow won the game and in the reverse fixture we dominated them but somehow lost.
We were pretty comfortable for most of the game until they started battering us for the last 15 mins or so earlier in the season.
Dazza
They have been the typical counter attacking away team performances that have become symbolic of the Premier League these days.
Would not surprise me if we either dominated them and lost or we sent everyone into a comatosed state in a dour 0-0 draw that is worthy of last place on MOTD.
Then again, Rooney could quite easily continue his hot streak and fire us to victory.
You just never know with this United
There's more excitement in the anticipation of how the game is gonna go than the actual football.
There's more excitement in the process of pollination than watching Utd Dazza...

There's always been criticism of Barkleys passing this season if you look at the stats he looks to have improved that a lot.
88% pass completion with 65% of passes going forward, looks good on the face of it. Added to what is clearly top class talent and athleticism then I'd say the hype for Barkley is well deserved.

Fellaini, Di Maria, Darmian, Falcao, Depay, Rojo, Morgan...the list seems endless
Barkley, stones, sterling, moratta, oxlade chamberlain.
Oh yeah and defo Jamie vardy
Raheem Sterling - Going to be just a run of the mill premier league player IMO.
Jack Wilshere - What has he ever proven? He allegedly had a good game against Barca where Arsenal had 0 shots on target and about 25% of the ball.
