I want to see a Blind, Schneiderlin and Herrera combo

How long is Carrick out for?

posted on 22/1/16

We got plenty of midfielders, just lack of defenders and strikers.

Carrick will be gone this summer leaving room for another midfielder.

Herrera doesn't really seem to cut it in the deeper role, unless he has a natural AM in front of him either.

Meaning Fellaini, love him or hate him, probably has to play.

I hope Carrick stays for another 3 years.

When you rush to a platform to see the train pulling out the station and a few people sniggering 😡😡 It's ok only an hour till the next one

Regarding my last tweet there's been far too many comments about my pace. Some very harsh I must say.

We still need two top quality cm's.

and a commanding CB..... and a striker....... and a decent wide-man.............frightening really isn't it???!!!

Still hoping to see:

-------Mata,Herrera-------
Lingard*,Rooney, Martial

*or Depay, whoever trained well.

Jos, yep still a lot of work needed to get the squad back into the shape needed to compete with the very best.

Stones, carvalho and Kane combined with some sensible management choices and tactics would have us challenging for the league and at least the knockout stages of Europe

Stones is massively overhyped.
only the bottom 7 have a worse defensive record than Everton this season.

I bet youve never seen Carvalho more than half a dozen times.

Kane i'll give you.

posted on 22/1/16

Kane and Stones would cost about 145 mil minimum so that's not gonna happen. and how much of carvalho have you actually seen?

I think with messi, Vidal and Thiago silva we may have a solid chance.

Neither will happen.

posted on 22/1/16

Will they? Kane is the only one I think would have a significant impact.

We need some decent wingers. A central midfielder who's not Fellaini. A decent right back.

We have loads to do.

posted on 22/1/16

Still don't get the Stones hype. Hearing it all season and still not seen much.

Kanes' great, but he isn't moving any time soon.

Carvalho I haven't really seen since the WC but I think he is the kind of midfielder we actually need, especially once Carrick is gone.

Robb will no doubt give it " but Jose wanted him, he cant be that bad" despite Mourinho also signing Cuadrado, Del Horno, Kezman, Quaresma, Adeybayor and Altintop during his career.

por the

well, Pique put him in his team of the year

Can you imagine how much levy would take from a club that wanted Kane

Doesn't bare thinking about. He's what more than bale.

Yep or 'Fergie would have bought him'.

I was right about Lukaku. I'll be right about Stones.

You can't place all of Evertons defensive record on Stones. Martinez is awful at sorting out a defence. He'd make Rio and Vidic look bad.

He's a defender every top team in Europe will want so I imagine they know what they've seen in him

That midfield is suicidal. Like stick a shot gun in your bum and put your toes on the trigger( I have thought this through)

But you can put some of it. He is massively overrated, having shown nothing yet he is spectacular at except being good on the ball for a defender.

Have just returned from a nine day stay in Llandudno and am shocked by what they have done to the North Shore. In days gone by there was steps leading down to a sandy beach. But now the steps are covered with rocks which lead all the way down to the sea. Apparently it is to protect the town against high tides, but it looks awful and I am sure it will put people of visiting.

Not saying Stones won't end up being a top defender as he is still young and has plenty of time to continue to develop. I've just not seen much of the defensive side to his game, I know that sounds odd and maybe it's partly down to the way Martinez wants his defenders to play but I just don't see much of a defender in Stones.

People make the Rio comparison but other than being comfortable on the ball I see little else. Rio could tackle, was fast, he also read the game brilliantly and as he grew older became physically very imposing. Stones has plenty to improve on if he even ends up being half as good as Rio (which would still be very impressive).

Stones is the English Pique. Great on the ball but not very good at defending.
