Siggy was in too much pain today thanks to a flare up in training yesterday apparently.
Most enjoyable part of the game was the last 30 minutes or so when we had 3 good chances in the space of a few minutes. Denied a clear penalty too.
Well done Kenny and the lads.
13 points from 18 is it ?
That's above promotion standard is it not ?
Un-ber-feckin-lievable !
A false dawn halfy, we have pretty much been terrible.
Yet another half today where we didn't muster a single shot on goal, as a one of that would be ok, sadly it has happened several times now.
To be fair, we would have won today if we had switched on for the free kick early on. Poor marking and a defensive lapse cost us two points.
By the end we probably shaded it, but it did take a very lucky goal to kick start things for us, prior to that we carried no threat at all.
Yeah we shouldn't have conceded such a crappy goal either but we really need to start trying to win games from the outset rather than this safety first approach.
Lets see what happens for Bolton, a poor poor team in loads of trouble, it should be that we set up to really have a go at them.

Oh dear. Such positive statements aren't going to endear you to the nay-sayers. (I applaud you though)
Halfy is as peed off as anybody

His match threads have taken a real hit thanks to Negative Kenny.
How did we miss that chance at the end....I would of put that away
By the way no team in history have managed to clutch defeat from the jaws of victory quite like us. We are a shambles.
I read a sugestion that it's possible that footie/fans who have to have a scapegoat in their side are simply deflecting their own personal low self-esteem.
Interesting view, if true, and could explain why there always had to be a Keogh or an Edwards in the team.
No such thing as a scapegoat, just natural that average players will receive more criticism than better ones.
Guess the fans had a minor protest about Moxey today as well with chanting at half time and a banner ''moxey out''.

have you ever been about 10 points clear in the promotion places with 6 or so games left, only to lose out to your bitterest rivals?
I seriously think that there is a kind of witch hunt going on of late, and many people need to give their head a wobble !
Sako gone, a huge loss however, I can't blame him
Dicko out for the season, another huge loss
Kourtney Hause out for long period of time
Afobe, sulking...lethargic and sold
Stearman.....sold for footballing reason by the club
JG busted knee !
Steve Mogan put the club up for sale and went AWOL
Not to mention numerous players out of form !!!!
And KJ has to keep picking up points, whilst trying to bring in players on a budget, and he can only pīss with the coćk that he's got !!!!
Even Mick could not have done better imo !!!!
Discuss !
Mick would have had us looking to win games rather than not lose them for a start.
Mick, certainly in this division would have brought in players he intended to use as well, not a load of squad fillers who never get a chance.
But whilst i agree it isn't all Kennys fault, he is the one who has to get us playing football and for the most part this season he has failed, and the injury issues are mostly recent so not an excuse for earlier in the season.
Have you given your head a wobble as prescribed ?
I did do that first, yes.
Now you try it and see what happens.
The clubs gone through a catalogue of turmoil this season for the above reasons......that's bound to have an effect on players and staff !
We, the fans need to factor that in when we rant about results !
Do we though?
The aim this season was the play offs as a minimum, we lost one player, a good one, but certainly not impossible to replace or compensate for, Bournemouth lost their most influential player and proceeded to win promotion the following season.
It was Kenny that decided to try seven different players on the left when it was feckin obvious we had to use a guy who actually played the left sided role, it was quite evident then he didn't have a plan at all.
Kenny is about 70% responsible for the crap we have seen this season, the club about 30%.
