i thought before we kicked off the fact we was playing away and not have the negative atmosphere the team are getting at pride Park would help them tonight.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And it looked like you had it spot on.
I'm still waiting to change my moniker, I won't hold my breath (even though Igor would love me to).
a mate of mine said Man U will put a strong team out on Friday because the FA Cup is possibly their only chance of any success this year. Could say the same for Derby.
our problem is we don't score enough goals for the amount of possession we have and the chances we create .Martin just not good enough , lacks pace and spends too much time pulling folk down and falling over . Should have spent money on a top class striker instead of all these players who are no better than we had two years ago .

Ince - not good enough
Johnson - not good enough
Blackman - probably not good enough
Our problem is we are chaotic and spineless when things don't go our way, we don't put teams under pressure so they have no fear of us, and I can't see it changing soon
tbf Robrearam you have a slight point. But which striker would you have signed back in August who had been more successful than Martin over the previous 2 seasons?
well nothing to lose Friday as we will be expected to lose....3 Rooney o.g's to even up the Karma
Freak result tonight.
How patient is Mel?
We'll have to have more than good luck on Friday too. I always feel the ref is ManU's 12th man, (particularly on the telly), maybe not so bad since Fergie retired though?

Very one-dimensional
big decisions for Mel in the next few weeks.
Not looking forward to hearing Dyche ... he will be unbearable.
Play the same starting XI next league game. Let them gel. We looked good first 45. Need some consistency and confidence in the team.
Forget about bad luck and refs and all that, they just become excuses, we have to face up to the problem, we're 5hit!
It's call continental football.
Not enough to get out off thei league over so many games.
We have a striker sat at home in Bent who should be given a run of six on the trot and see what he can do , must be a cracking player abroad we could have got for 20 million , we have spent 25 mill and are no better.
Larry, I agree with you. too many changes over and over again.
I still think we'll beat most teams with what we have, Martin worries me because he doesn't seem like just a player out of form he seems like the fight has gone out of him.
I think we have to play him cos we have nowt else there, but he's not reading the game or making any effort to, his reactions are way too slow, he's not putting himself about, he's not fighting for the ball, he looks like he don't give a f**k, he's not even diving well.
Ince is so tough just wish the lad would think a bit more. Camara is okay but I haven't seen a cross of his find anyone yet.
For me it was an improvement, yes there are question marks over PC particularly motivation of players, but it would be too Fawaz to get rid of him IMO.
Disappointed I didn't see too much pride in the shirt though when the going got tough.
I thought there were plenty of good things in performance. As the away team on a poor run against a side in form we completely controlled the game in the first half. We were undone by freakish goals. The build-up play was excellent first half and for much of the match we were better than we were at Hull.
Have to say though, Gray is a menace, and that is something you cannot say about Martin at the moment.
Griff with your sixth sense understanding of the Derby dressing room do you think the players have faith in PC?
