Truth be told, is wayne rooney worthy of breaking the goal scoring record the the GREAT GENTLEMAN Sir Bobby Charlton holds.
Rooney is not FIT TO LICK Sir Bobby Charltons lace is what my take is on the matter.
Sir Bobby was better then Rooney will ever be.
And not the BIG TIME PLOD FAT WAYNE IS.
Given the opposition it should of been better. Glad we avoided a banana skin.
Why start the sentence with "truth be told"?
When our striker plays quite well we play better as well. Mata was also decent behind the striker as well and it was an all round decent performance.
It was also good to see the youngsters play well at full back and moving forward I would like to see them play there if our first choice full backs are out.

Derby and Newcastle opening up and attacking us helped in those two games its when teams park the bus against us we struggle.
Derby had a lot of men behind the ball for large parts of the game but we played better football because we had 2 pacey wide men and an in form striker. God knows why we went 3-5-2 last Saturday.
Truth be tol, all we need do is get relegated and we can enjoy attacking football again.
I was impressed with our two young full backs tonight.
No the only difference was we scored 3 instead of 0 from a similar amount of chances we create most games.

But it wasn't like Sheffield United at home when Sheffield United literally stood in a line in front of our penalty box and did not move there was a lot more space for us to play tonight.

Me too. Borthwick-Jackson looks a really good player. Varela could be good also

Really good? Is that what were describing as really good nowadays.

Let's not get carried away. It was Derby County.
Big PL games coming up. Let's see.
When our striker plays quite well we play better as well.
------
A lot is made of systems and that but a quality striker really makes such a big difference to a team. It's arguably the most important position on the pitch and an area we are lacking quality and consistency, so it's no wonder we've been struggling.
Enter the khunt, stretty.... They played very well and are both young... Yes,.really good for their age and experience
Enjoyable 2nd half.
Some well worked goals, speed, intent and pleasing performances by Varela and Borthwick-Jackson again. Rooney, Mata and Lingard improved too and it's frightening to think where we'd be without Martial.
Still believe there's a lot more to come from Schneiderlin but tonight was as bad as he's been for United I think. Playing with Fellaini certainly isn't helping him.
Let's be honest though, we beat a Derby side who were in bad form themselves and clearly lacking in confidence.
Come Tuesday, I'm expecting us to struggle once again.
Some people just can't bring themselves to take any enjoyment out if watching the team they are supposed to support. You can't even give a couple of the youngsters credit without them jumping on it. Pathetic to be honest

No this was our usual performance this season. Only difference was we got a bit of luck.
There are a few posters on here who can't bring themselves to say anything positive ever.
I honestly don't get why Martial got such a high rating today by all media. He was awful, wasted about 4 great attacks to score from. He is more wasteful then Welbeck was and that takes some doing.
