The Carling Cup came fairly early on in my Spurs following followed by the 2 points after a load of games under Ramos. Kind of summed up Spurs I think in about 6 months.

I do recall the 5-1 to Chelsea defeat where Bale? scored after Cech fouled Adebayor. Had we got a penalty and a man sent off instead could have been oh so different. But knowing us we probably would have missed the penalty

If I was starting I would not have said anything, but now you have, welcome!
There are five groups of posters on here:
1. Knowledgeable old timers who have seen all the ups and downs of Spurs and its management. This includes:
- Grandspurs (the grand old man of this board. Been sick lately, I think, but still around, so watch out!)
- Sandy senior citizen - very active.
- myself
and one or two others whose names escape me ATM.

2. People who generally know wot they talk about and are usually reasonable. This includes
- don
-sizzle
-edinspur
-morespur
-Devonshirespur
-spurtle2
-GeniusGreaves
-Billy-the-Yidd

3. People who sometimes know wot they talk about but will not hesitate to bite you if they don't like wot you say, whether it is true or not, and don't much care what they say:
- Hengy
-Chronic
-Ace
and some others whose name escape me ATM. They can be reasonable, but only if they like wot you say.

4. The schoolboys and other idiots who not yet learned logic..

5. People who support other teams, generally known as WUMS (Wind Up Merchants).

I think that includes most things you will experience here. And just to demonstrate what I mean, watch what happens when they see this post!

Hi I'm Sandy, Ted has pretty well got it right, apart from Chronic, who knows SFA about football, and wants Spurs knocked out of cup competitions. He is not a proper Spurs supporter though.

Oh and watch out there is a stalker on the board, he seeks out OAPs and young fellas like yourself, he goes by the name of Greateams. Mind your back with him, he makes out he is a Liverpool supporter, despite never having been there, and he spends a lot of time on google I believe that is where he gets his footie knowledge from.

Anyway enjoy your stay.
