Have to say there were a few crosses that came in but benteke was always too far back lol.

Good half apart from same old problems in both boxes.

But it really doesn't matter how good you are in a game with possession etc, if you can't defend and can't score, then you are not going to win.

We have the worst keeper in the league and the laziest striker. Omens don't look good for as long as we have those two.

That's not to say others aren't to blame as well, but those two have between them cost us so many games this season

Nah....not having a go at Liverpool. You shoot yourself into the foot with this defending.

Tekkers is a joy to watch, get so many laughs out of him, then he pulls out some nifty footwork to set up Cout who hit the post, hes a genius, priceless

Overall though we haven't played so bad, bit unlucky to be behind, just before HT too, still standard.

Not tonight no, but on MANY occasions yes. Having him between your sticks doesn't exactly breed confidence throughout the team.

Stewart, Chirivella and Smith have done well considering. Tex has been a bit greedy could of passed a bit quicker. But the "kids" are making a case of first team inclusion which is all you can ask for. It's the senior players that need to stand up at the moment.

Mig is awful, barely brushes a ball onto the post from a free kick to his standing side he had it well covered still almost parried it into his own net like he did vs Sunderland. Possibly the worse keeper we've ever had.

James was a great keeper but turned into crap before coming good again when he left.

I'd be amazed if anyone still think Mignolet is a decent keeper. He does the bare minimum a keeper should does, sometimes, and nothing more.

Be amazed then. I think he's a good keeper and like most of the team severely lacking in confidence. Picking weakened teams for the cup isn't helping that.
