I'm hoping this Khumalo lad will be a bit Sandro-esq with his career start.

He didn't look anything special in Sith Ifrica but I remember Sandro's first game

Why all the gloom , we have a far better side than last year

Which of our 1st x1 have we sold ??????

We've Improved in defence with Walker being swapped for Hutton

Parker replaces players who wouldn't have got into the squad and neither would Keane or Crouch and we have Ade to bolster the attack

Over the length of the window we have come out with a far better squad and first team

We still have Dos Santos, although he's not been given a shirt so I am not sure how he'll play?

We have Pienaar.

Squid,

I'm with you on that but something has just hit me.

Parker is now away on international duty, and now he's a Spurs player he's bound to pick up an injury!

We have at least 26 players to pick our 25 man squad from , show me where you got this 22 man figure from

Ah apologies for my miscalculation. But you're right and on the plus side, we still have a stronger team than we did last year. We've replaced Parker with Palacios and Crouch with Adebayor. We're a bit thinner squad wise but we've managed to ship a lot of unwanted players.

Arsenal are worse than last season so it's not all bad.

Squid,

I think Mouse was referring to 'senior' players

---------------

I'm not so sure.

They've got rid of the Danish donkey, brought in Arteta & Yossi, and have Mertesacker as well.

I think they've done well considering the shape they were in on Monday. As much as it pains me to say.

No Livermore, Thudd?

SSS - Oh, I agree, they're in way better shape than they were before. But in terms of last season. They've replaced Clichy with a left back with questionable defensive abilities, Fabregas with Arteta and Nasri with Benayoun. Not bad but nowhere near as good as the one's they've lost.

Oh and Livermore..

I was checking his age and I forgot to put him in!

He is 22!

Do Walker and Livermore not count as U21?

Redknapp - "I looked at the list, I had 29, you're only allowed 25, that means I had too many"

Shelf so was I ............Our youngersters have gone over the age limit and we had a lot of players out on loan last year which when added to the players we brought in meant we were so over inflated that we had to sell at least 5 before adding any more yesterday

Benny

TBH I think Nasri isn't really a loss for them, he did nothing of any note the second half of last term. Fibreglass was always leaving and Per can fill in at LB if needed.

But I know what you mean, I haven't looked on their board yet but I get the feeling they will feel a lot more optimistic than us this morning.

Not that that is anything new for the deluded s
