----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think Fergie's just a victim of his own talent. How was he to know he left a poor team behind if he was able to get a PL title out of them?
MUFC have failed to win 17 of our last 26 games in all comps, I can't get my head around how LvG is still in charge after that stat and 250 million pounds being spent on players since he's been here.
Out of the CL with that CL group, losing at home to Middlesbrough in the COC.
It's 1 step forward 2 steps back under the guy and he's too stubborn to change a thing

He got a title out of the old guard, this lot were the bench mostly
They broke records spunking money on tat.
If we beat Villa tomorrow we will only be three behind, we have a decent run in. Finishing above them is still a realistic target for the rest of the league season.
Imagine where they'd be without De Gea, or if they had Mignolet in goal instead haha.
I have always said DDG is the difference between us and them. That is the only player who can improve us from their team. We have better attacking players in Studge, Coutinho, Firmino. If they had lost Martial and Rooney this season to injuries they would have lost more games.

I think Smalling is a tad overrated these days but he'd improve us IMO

Name your better players. You have awfull players. I dont want any of your players bar DDG and Martial.
I can say Clyne, Studge, Coutinho, Firmino, Benteke would make your team stronger. Your only players which would make us stronger are Martial and DDG.
Your defenders are rubbish. The italian right back clown is average. Smalling makes mistake after mistake. Blind is an average player.
Schneiderlin is not good enough for us or for you.
you're mental
DDG, Smalling, Shaw (when his leg heals), Mata, Rooney, Martial, even CBJ would improve you
Sturridge? don't make me laugh, he'll be sold in summer if Klopp can find a buyer
Rooney and Borthwick Jackson , they are awful.

They still had Jones, Januzaj, Smalling, Cleverley, Welbeck, Evans, Hernandez, Rafael. Rooney, RVP with a few years left in them. They wouldn't have needed a complete makeover based on the team Fergie left. Just a few additions.
Utd wasted time embarrassing themselves by bidding silly money for Neymar and Lewandowski who will never be sold
No way would Fergie be bidding for those players if he was in charge
I don't think Utd fans have anything to worry about. They are a huge money making enterprise and once they kick out LVG and bring in Mourinho will be hugely successful again.
My main frustration is while they are down we can't capitalise.

And Moreno isn't ??????
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nobody said he isn't. A fully fit Jon Flanagan is a far better defender, and probably our first choice LB.
Even young Brad Smith is looking like getting a game.

A fully fit Luke Shaw would be our first choice lb, and while i rate flanagan, i'd still take Shaw
Van Gaal's tactics look out of place in the EPL. Playing side to side to try to stretch sides has been combated and I think they have bought some really disappointing players such as Rojo. There may be more money men instead of football men when it comes to transfers and that's a disaster, plus Ferguson didn't leave a good squad which was a poor base to build on. Their main man Rooney was too static until just recently and the ages and experience of the first 11 looks unbalanced.

to be honest the only one's I would take DDG and Martial and Rooney don't make me laugh he'll be sold as soon as Chinese come knocking.
Neither us nor United can realistically claim any credibility this season, with one big difference. I really was surprised by their performance against Sunderland today; it put our result in perspective. There was no combination, plan, teamwork, nothing from them. To listen to both Rooney AND LVG, they've each given up the fight. I never thought I'd ever hear Wayne speaking in such a despondent manner; downcast sent the word.
The one difference for us? When it's clicked this season, Chelsea, City, Southampton we really did look the business, unstoppable, triumphant, fantastic to watch.
No wum, but can anyone name a similar form United has shown this season?

Wayne's heart has never been at United, for him it was just a career opportunity.
