Definitely in the PL, but he did play in a far better side here than Suarez

It is actually extremely close. To say otherwise is probably not being very objective.

I'd say broadly equal in a fairly average Liverpool team Suarez not only was incredible but made other players around him better while Henry's arsenal were for the most part an all round great team.

It's hard to judge but the way Suarez is playing now matches Henry at his peak I'd say

I'd say Henry in 2005/6 team was comparable to Suarez's Liverpool side. Both came a whisker away from achieving the ultimate goal.

Same.

Suarez is obviously brilliant, but he has games where he looks really horrible on the ball. Would like to see how much damage Henry could do in this Barca team, where he isn't under as much restriction as under Pep.

I'll take Suarez all day, with him at Barca, Messi may not win WPTY again

Suarez is class but it's Henry. He's as complete a centre forward as the game has seen in the last 15 years. His four years from 2002-2006 were just a week-in, week-out masterclass in complete forward play, allied to his appreciation of those around him - opponents and teammates alike - was like nothing we've ever seen.

True, suarez did it in a weaker Liverpool side, but also in a weaker premier league overall. Suarez is outstanding; Henry a bit better.

Henry.

Apart from messi and ronaldo he's the best player I've ever seen when in his prime at Arsenal.

Suarez is of course very good.

It's a tricky one, both are/were incredible. Henry was my favourite player to watch at his peak, the things he could do on the ball were out of this world.

However I've not really ever seen a player destroy teams on such a regular basis, and quite often on his own, as what Suarez did in that season for us. And he seems to have gone next level now with Messi and Neymar.

But it's tricky, I can't really split the two. Imagine seeing peak Henry and peak Suarez in the same team though, that would be a joy to watch.

Is this just an attempt for the dumbest comment prize??

Of course it is bleedin' close, personally right now i would give it to Henry for his entire body of work but if Suarez has another season like this one then he will take the crown.

Suarez was the perfect signing for Barca. It's astonishing how he clicks with Neymar and Messi.

Best #9 in the world. For me, on track to win next Ballon d'Or ahead of anyone else.

I hate how he's become my favourite player to watch. He's just so versatile. The runs he makes, his finishing, his determination.

You clearly don't rate Brazilian Ronaldo as highly as I do. Injuries hurt him but at his peak he was as close to being unplayable as I'd ever seen, although admitedly I hadn't seen Messi at that point.

At this moment I'd probably still say Henry but we're looking back on his full career whereas Suarez is still playing. If Suarez maintains his current level then I think my answer would change in a year or two.
