Suarez is the better player hands down plus he hasnt really done anything despicable like what Henry did when he cheated a whole nation out of a World Cup

If you put henry in his peak in this barca team he'd probably outscore suarez.
Both incredible players. But Henry at his peak was better
It's very very close but Suarez for me. For the last 4 seasons he has become one of the best players I'v ever seen. Henry was great don't get wrong but Suarez has gone to another level.
Skill wise there is no contest, Henry was definitely the better footballer between the two. One big plus Suarez has over Henry though is that he's highly unpredictably. As a defender you never know what he's gonna do, heck not even Suarez himself knows.
That and his lethal finishing has proven to be a major addition to this Barca side. Henry would have been more of the same, a Messi-lite.
They are comparable now, but I don't think they will be when Suarez is done.

Around '03 and '04, I'd say Henry wad arguably the best in the world. Zidane's award ahead of him in '03 was a fraud. And there's no way Saurez is the best now. Messi, Neymar and STILL Ronaldo are ahead of him.

Nobody said he's not influential. He's just not as good as the other 3. Of course he has outscored Messi and Neymar cos he has played far more often and he's the centre forward. Just because Messi and Ronaldo get crazy stats from supporting attacking roles doesn't mean it should be so.

The fact Arsenal fans are now trying to add caveats is laughable.
No one us denying Henry's talent I just think that right now Suarez has gone to another level. Isn't it like 12 goals and 5 assists in his last 7 games or something? 42 and 12 assists in 37 games? It's not like he has the team set up around him like Henry either and he'll probably go on to scores more goals at both club and international level.
When Henry's pace went so did he.

The stats are pointless without context of how top-heavy European football and especially La Liga has become. Nobody did those numbers in Henry's era simply because it was impossible too and the league was much fairer. Only Ronaldo de Lima at his prime could get stats like that and I can assure you he was like 2 levels above Suarez at his devastating prime. Giroud wouldn't even get 40 goals in his dreams. He's got Ozil and Sanchez, two top players, feeding him now and doesn't appear to help!
My personal opinion is Henry, for now anyway, but I can understand those that would say Suarez. What I can't understand is those saying it's not close or worthy of debate.
From what I've read the neutral fans (i.e. not Arsenal or Liverpool) seem to think it's close but Henry edges it. Seems pretty fair to me.
