Unbelievably I got an A In both maths and statistics, unfortunately a typo in my OP caused me to do an incorrect sum.

But the 5% was an exaggeration, but I was hoping for an interesting debate but that was not the case fortunately.

And the mature response wasn't sarcastic, that was a thank you to the poster before you who actually answered and gave an opinion, in a debate.

Stupid predictive text, ruining me here!

We use a high line when we are camped in your half at the Grove, and the deep line when the ball is being hoofed into our box at the Reebok.

That is suprising.

"answered and gave an opinion, in a debate."

You didn't thank everyone else who did that, including me when I offered an opinion on his lack of pace and where he'd fit in with a team with a normally high defensive line. But at that point you were to busy telling us what we thought, well it may have been you or another Bolton fan who came on board to have a pop. Either way, if you want to find people who have ruined any debate in your thread, you need to look a little closer to home.

To be honest, I don't think these stats are conclusive evidence that Cahill is better. I'm not going to read through 100 comments to see if there points have been made.

The style of play is quite different in the 2 leagues. I'm guessing our league is more about high balls into the box, whereas the German league keeps it on the ground more. Hence why Mertesacker has more interceptions.

Also, Cahill has to do the work of 2 defenders. Zat Knight's ability level rhymes with his surname.

Out of the two, I wouldn't swap players. Cahill is the type of defender who wouldn't look out of place in midfield. Cahill also has a lot of pace, and that's a surprisingly rare attribute for a central defender. Being able to rely on speed to rectify a mistake is something Mertesacker doesn't have.

Well done Campo that's pretty much what everyone else has said compressed into a single post.

The OP will call it immature I expect.

If you truly believe we beat you last year by pumping balls into the box, put down the keyboard and go do something else. Relying on memory isn't going to work for you.

We scored from 2 corners, and even found time to miss a penalty.

I'm not trying to wind you up but Bolton are worse relative to the PL than Bremen are relative to the Bundesliga -

How? Bremen conceded 2 goals every game and excaped relegation on the last day..

I think Per was a good bit of business for Arsenal. After seeing their defensive frailties so far this season they need a solid defender to try and get a top four spot. If he doesnt perform and they carry on leaking goals they will be looking at UEFA cup at best.

Actually Campo was the most nature comment and basically that commen summed up both players tremendously

West ham would subsidise his wages. .maybe bolton pay a portion if west ham really want to get rid. Suppose it would depend on spearing and medo going out on loan to fund the wages.
