Ah so now if comes to pass how Usmanov increased his share of Arsenal.
Mosh sold his shares in Arsenal to Usmanov to give him the clout to buy a majority stake in Everton.
The one saving grace is that he only has a 49.9% share
Be interesting to see how this unfolds, I have heard that Kenwright is going to remain chairman ( not sure how true this is, plus with him being allegedly unwell how it will work). I hope bill and the board have sold to a good person/consortium.
Has a proper due diligence been performed by the club or is it the first man who will give them the payday they want?

You would hope due diligence has been done, otherwise how would they know what state our finances our in? Although nothing would surprise me at the club we all love.
I just hope he has the right intentions for the club and you don't end up like so many clubs that went pear shaped with foreign owners. I've been cynical about them since we had those two muppets a few years back.
Fresh injection of capital, so would be a decent amount of money for players.
Excellent news 👏🏻 new manager now please

Not sure where the additional cash will come
From for players.....
The current shareholders won't throw money into the pit and neither will this guy IMO.
He will use the academy with a sprinkling of wise buys to build the club up
If it's £200m coming into the club, that surely is a good injection of cash
Well...I have a good feeling about this. He isn't a stranger to football, unlike the yanks. He has lived longer in England than Iran and has pent 18months with Bill.
I say we have struck an excellent deal here.
Plus we now have more money to invest than Liverpool!! hahaha
Martinez is going to have to pull something out of his ass to save this season, if we finish in the bottom half without a trophy his job surely must be on the line. I wonder if Hiddink would consider us if he was promised funds?

That's for shares, that he would then own. What he invests after that is a cash injection, as seen before.....the previous major share holders didn't throw their own cash in as it didn't return a dividend.

They may not have taken out a dividend but they certainly made an handsome profit on their initial outlay
All depends on how the 49.9% have been acquired?
Doesn't Green have a large 'interest' to call back in
FFS Arouna, I honestly cant remember ever hearing anything positive regarding the board coming from you.
Embrace it, it's happening. Whatever you type here isn't going to change it.
The fact that Billy is staying on must mean his imminent demise must have been exaggerated, which I think is more important than any takeover.
Happy he seems well enough to remain a part of the club.
He has blue blood pumping through his veins and maybe will help keep the heart of the club intact
That's for shares, that he would then own.
------
Who has he bought the shares off?
That's the unknown part.
The 49.9% look to be from The trio of Woods, Earl and Kenwright.
But nobody will know fully until it's rubber stamped by the PL
If some are from Kenwright, surely he's put some funds into the club in the form of an interest free loan.
It says in the Echo that Earl has relinquished his shares and kenwright and Woods have parted with some so Moshiri can become the majority shareholder.
Something iffy is bound to happen, the league will find out that Farhad has made his fortune from drug and human trafficking, and he'll fail the fit and proper person test.
