The cretin is crying at home we won. How anyone believes this fraud supports united baffles me

2016 has definitely been a bit better than December/Christmas time that's for sure. Liking the look of Memphis coming into form, Lingard being productive with goals and assists, the emergance of Rashford and Borthwick-Jackson, the 2016 form of Rooney.

However, who were those games against, may I ask?

It's the games against southampton, chelsea and newcastle that we really deserved a better result imo

freaking annoying but oh well, the 2016 form gives us some hope for winning either a cup or finishing top 4 this season

Fair play, we are beating teams that we are supposed to, which we weren't doing before.

it's the goals and performances that have improved too

LVG could have brought some quick fixes in jan, but like he said today he trusts in his youth.

they look hungry and energetic, very athletic too. definetely 2-3 will be a permanent part of the squad in the future.

Heisenberg

Claiming that we deserved more then what we got against Southampton undermines your point, as it's patently untrue. We were awful that day and fully deserved to lose. We also were not remotely unfortunate to draw at Newcastle. Whilst you're playing this game, I think we have been unlucky to drop any points this season.

it was just a comment to highlight how close we could be to top 4. fine margins in football.

against southampton we were good enough for a draw, definetely not a loss. i felt darmians injury caused our back four to be disrupted and concede a goal as a result. of course this is just my thoughts on it, we could still have lost.

a last minute deflected equaliser and a very harsh pen on smalling cost us at newcastle.

i get your point though, it's just one of those results that really irked me. equally you could say we didn't deserve the win at liverpool.

footballs a funny game. we will lose more games but providing we maintain somewhat of a consistent run of form in 2016 we have a (small) chance of redeeming this season

I was at the Southampton game and we were rubbish. Having said that so were they. If ever a game deserved
0-0 it was that

The Liverpool and Arsenal victories were impressive but the rest were pretty damn easy games (Swansea, Sheffield United, Shrewsbury, Derby and Midgets). Nothing to boast about as you guys have been in awful form this year.

I was very impressed with you boys yesterday, you looked hungry and maybe that was because of the youth in the side but whatever it was it worked and yeah I was well impressed. Well done 👍👏

Interesting, where is our Robbie?

Utd won
Arsenal lost
Liverpool lost

Hope he's okay

Interesting how Van Gaal's prepared to let the team express themselves now that there's no pressure on in the League.

Poor Arsenal though. No matter what the line up they fold like a broken deckchair every February.

I'm not excusing the football but the guy constantly stated the players were not moving the ball quicker or retaining possession well.

I do blame him though for letting it carry on for so long

The 0-0 games all came when we were entirely reliant for Rooney on goals, and he went through one of his inevitable dry spells he's experienced all through his career.

Van Gaal should be blamed for this crippling us as he sold all our other striking options in the summer.

Javier Hernandez AND Robin van Persie sold together in one window was ridiculous. Keep Chicharito, and when Rooney isn't scoring play them as a front two. Simple.

These performances further emphasise why we need to start looking long term without Wayne Rooney.

Rashford is still a kid and people need to not pile pressure on him but imagine for a second we had a striker like Lewandowski or Benzema instead of Rooney.

Never underestimate the qualities some players bring to the whole team.

Not saying Rooney is poor, the lad has played a lot of football. He has essentially had a football career. Been playing at the highest level for 14 years. Inevitable that he will start to taper off

The same applies to seeing Memphis play with confidence.

Agreed, suddenly we have multiple outlets in attack and can switch the play.

I think all 3 trophies are their for us but we need to win pretty much every game in the premierleague maybe affording a slip up draw in one.

We have seen it before Arsenal winning the title or Man Utd winning the title putting on a crazy run of form at the end from even out of the top 4.
