I would say that Spurs mentality is pretty good, especially after gifting Leicester three points at WHL after dominating the whole 90 minutes, not dropped a point since that game, and also at the same time played a two legged cup tie with one of the top teams in Italy. That hardly smacks of a team that is not mentaly up for it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Imo, one of the things that will add to the intrigue of the run in is precisely that both your squad and Leicester's are unknown quantities at the sharp end of a major title battle, while there are big question marks over Arsenal being able to hold their nerve, though the fact that they've won the last two FA Cups might suggest that they have a very good chance if they manage to stay close enough come the last few games.
Squad-wise, City are the only one of the teams who still look to be in with a chance who've shown before that they know how to win a league title, although it looks like they've left themselves a very uphill task and the CL could prove to be a distraction too.
Haha, it's cool fox dude, I never doubted ya. Unlucky with that injury though sounds like it really screwed things up.
city have lost their last 2 games and face a tough game against liverpool.
Utd could be level on points by wednesday evening with City v United still to come.
i wouldnt rule us out at the minute of gatecrashing top 4.
we will have a major impact on who wins the league this season with City, Spurs and Leicester still to play.
Nobody rolls over at this time of year, except Villa...
Every league position is worth £1.5m to the club.
As a footnote. I expect Lesta to win 2-0 tonight.
I'm with you, Dunc. City haven't been good in the league and are in a position right now where you simply can't tell whether they'll definitely be cut loose, then crash and burn, or whether they'll put in a string of wins and make themselves title favourites again. They're capable of both.

If spurs had been top of the league for as long as Leicester then they would have bottled it by now.
Leicester are dealing very well with the pressure and have nothing to worry about as they are up against the 2 biggest bottlers in the league

Merse has you down to win 3-1 and reckons it's their most difficult game and I agree it is and hope he's right 😉

Eh, I just get what this mentality stuff is? How do you know which team has the best mentality?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Alright let's see what this team has actually done to show they have a strong mentality.
Firstly they were all massively disappointed to lose in the play offs to Watford in the way that we did. It could have knocked them for six knowing they had another season in the Championship but that galvanised them and they went onto win the league in style. They proved they can handle the pressure of winning a league. Six of them play every week now.
Last season we were bottom for 140 days and we found ourselves in a position where all of a sudden we needed to win all our games and we won six on the bounce and stayed up comfortably in the end. That was real pressure, chasing a league title is nothing in comparison to PL survival. Survival was the only option whereas it doesn't matter what happens now.
We have also won more points from losing positions than any other team in the league and have come back from 2-0 down three times, once to win 3-2. We have handled the pressure of being top for most of the season so I think we have more than enough credentials because neither Spurs nor Arsenal have done that!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We've won more than you from losing positions.
Yeah you have now actually, we don't go behind very often anymore.
This Totts team have never been under any proper serious pressure though man and they've never won anything either.
The fact that we've conceded the least scored the most and won the most points from losing positions, mentally we are where we want to be.
just plain old Dunc

United are hardly in scintillating form, having only won what is it three prem games out of 12, or something like that. United will have it all to do to hold Chelsea off from finishing above them.

the last couple of games have seen us play our best football of the season.
it appears its the senior players like Rooney that have held us back this season.
we have a front line loaded with pace now instead of none.
im not saying we will go on some long unbeaten run, but its more likely now than it was a fortnight ago.
