You would hope the council has measures in place to refuse that sort of kick off time
It's Paddy's Day, take the day off and get hammered all day
The match day traffic is a joke to be honest, you've got to be a complete moron with nothing better to do with the 2hrs after the game to park within a mile of the ground
stop moaning. Should have qualified from the group stage and be with the big boys.

Yeah, all these bloody people trying to get to the ground ffs. Stay at home!
The big game is on afterwards
Obviously, you put the starter on first.
For the later 1945 KO the rush hour traffic has subsided before the match-day traffic builds up so there isn't a problem.

Like hell it has.

Likewise on the 10th.
Tie will be over by this point anyway and you lads will be virtually out.... I wouldn't stress too much about it.
Yes i'm sure you're expecting another 180 minutes of European domination just like the 1-0 vs Augsburg
Was offered tickets but can get there for 6. Such a joke of a ruling.
I can understand 6PM kick offs in Eastern Europe, but not in the UK, it doesn't make sense for anybody.

I find if I park directly outside the stadium, and leave on 90 minutes, I get out just fine.

I got stuck twice really badly, so now I don't bother and just get the tram to Trafford bar right the way from East Didsbury park & ride

I was just basing this assumption on your last away leg in this competition at the home of the mighty Midtlylland!
Great kick off time. Only a unt of a boss would deny you it and every hour you're given off work is an hour you don't have to take away from your family.

Agree from a personal point of view, but I appreciate that not everyone can finish early.
Im away for the 2nd leg however so won't be able to go anyway, will have to settle for a nice little boozer after a day's skiing
I always stay behind after the game for a bit for everyone to clear off

It was tongue in cheek, but I think it's a bit unreasonable to expect UEFA to make allowances for every single city's logistic difficulties, or make special exceptions for Manchester fans. What should they do, switch it for someone else to encounter the same issues?
I presume too that having everyone kick off later would impact income from broadcasting rights and would negatively affect the organisation's affiliates. I find it absolutely logical that these considerations should take precedence over traffic inconveniences for the City of Manchester.
If the club's and FAs feel the early midweek kickoff times are a real issue, then it's something they should address in the planning phase of the tournament, not on an ad hoc basis.
In short, it just sounds like another excuse to have a good old whinge about UEFA (as if there weren't enough reasons already).
A later kick off will mean that firstly fans will not have to take time off to go to the match
--------------
Can't see this being a problem for the scousers anyway

It'll give them time to take another couple of wheels off, though?
Crap time for a match. Can see these two fixtures being pretty feisty occasions. Having it at 6 probably increases the chances of people drinking all day before they go.
Also it's St Paddy's day as well
