but seriously, i understand the joy you're feeling, but really you do understand where the critics are coming from...
this is a team who were rock bottom last year, and now this... it's bonkers beyond belief!!
Their logic is sound and coming from educated opinions. City are doing the unthinkable... and well no matter what, are the Team of the season.
they deserve the Title, but Champs Lg football next term, is just as bigger a reward.
the money City will earn, will put them in a strong position for years to come...

Couple of points StringerBell

Re. Champions League money..... Yes all money coming into the club is welcome but our owners are extremely astute businessmen and have earnt the fortune they have through good, solid achievable long term plans. They have amassed an extremely large bank balance so while the money us welcome it isn't crucial to our future plans.

As for " understanding sound and educated opinion" I fully accept that there are some people with sound and educated opinions but there are also some numpties who can't accept their own team playing second fiddle to " little old Leicester". And therefore attempt to throw as much negativity at Leicester.
Our style of football is a bug bear with them, it's amazing how many people are experts on our 29 games we have played. I do wonder how many have seen all of these games or just highlights.
We played some sublime, excellent football before Christmas but since the New Year we have had to change our style slightly to counter our oppositions tactics yet we are still hardly dropping any points.
So our flexibility and adaptability is another plus.

But at the end of the day we may not win the league but we have bought a new level of interest to the title race this season 👍

that you most certainly have.
i think Leicester have it in the bag really... as Henry just stated, and i noticed that at the final whistle... The players and Manager actually look calm and cool and just riding the wave.
that sort of approach, no amount of mind games can
wobble that mindset set.

The atmosphere within the club is extremely calm and relaxed. There is a lot more stress and pressure about where we are from outside the club than inside.
A lot of this has come from Claudio and his experiences etc.
Let's just hope we carry it on for another 9 games.

And doesn't look like its about to end any time soon either, we're getting better as a team.

So as an outsider, we understand, you were fighting for survival... somehow, the manager hadn't lost his team, and went on amazing run to survive....

so what happened when Claudio came in?
cos i do believe Pearson has to get credit, right?

The best answer is that 'The Club' deserve the credit, it's a real team effort at our Club and we have brilliant owners over seeing it all.

I am a Leicester Supporter - I liked what Pearson eventually achieved, I like what Raneri is achieving, but I support the club, not the Manager

I was a Pearson fan and the job he did to get us to where we are now goes way beyond last season's great escape. He completely overhauled the squad and signed players with talent and a point to prove and he changed the atmosphere at the club and pulled it together.

I believe the Watford play off defeat was the catalyst to galvanising our squad and was the beginning of the spirit we see at the club now. Pearson did a great job keeping the belief in the players last season and we actually played well in all but three or four games but didn't get the rub of the green. We didn't lose by more than two all season but mostly by one.

It would have been easy for the players to give up but we were in every game we played last season, we weren't like Villa, it's just Pearson set us up wrong until the point he had no choice but to attack. I still believe that's down to Cambiasso but that's another story.

What Ranieri has done brilliantly is allow the players to carry on from last season and didn't overload them with his tactics when he first arrived. He trusted them and gained their trust and now his tactics are fully evident and the players know exactly what he expexts from them. We're so well drilled and very professional and that's all down to Ranieri.

His attention to detail is incredible and the way he sees the problem and finds the solution is simply remarkable. I don't remember seeing a team as versatile as this before, switching from 4-4-2 to 4-1-4-1 or 3-5-2 just looks so fluid and it always works and this unpredictability is what wins us games. The bloke is a genius.

Credit where it's due to Pearson but Ranieri is a different class and any success this season is ultimately down to him. We wouldn't be doing so well with Pearson because he's not as tactically astute.

Both are equally ridiculous for different reasons.
