----------------------------------------------------------------------

I'll have a go at that....

Club goals record:
Aguero - goal every 1.94 games
Costa - goal every 2.5 games

International goals record
Aguero - goal every 2.16 games
Costa - goal every 10.0 games

And then there's the most important point; Aguero is obviously the better player.

Costa might be more suited to Chelsea's style over the last decade so can understand a view of Costa over Aguero for Chelsea. But overall? Nope.

International form don't mean jack. Goals per game ain't a good comparison either since Costa was playing in an off form team for most of this season so he weren't getting good service. Now that Costa is getting service, he's scoring way more goals than Aguero.

Over the last 10 games, roughly when Chelsea's form picked up, Costa has scored 8 (not counting Stoke because he didn't play) and Aguero 9.

And that's in a period when City were playing pretty poorly (lost 3 and drew 3 of the 10).

Scoring way more? Nope.

Aight fine, they score pretty much the same amount of goals. How is Aguero better than Costa? They're both good finishers, but Costa's better all around since he's stronger and better in the air.

Why are some people playing LBs at RB and RBs at LB? I thought inverted fullbacks didn't take-off?

Off the top of my head - quicker, better dribbler, low centre of gravity means he hard to knock of the ball, better at running in behind defenders, more skillful (ball at feet), very intelligent runs.

Costa is a better target man, no question. Any other role then it's Aguero.

i reckon Costa better as a lone striker, aguero better in a two. Agree with that?
