My (adult) ticket is £40 - The same as my ticket at the DW Stadium the last time we played Wigan away.
I've got a Superbia card so the price doesn't particularly matter to me but it all sounded pretty reasonable to me for a champions league quarter final.
Perhaps if the Paris away ticket price of £71 & no concessions had been released before our home prices then there wouldn't have been such a stink about it.
Ten years ago, I would turn up at home games wondering if we might actually score a goal.
If you had told me then that in ten years we would have five trophies and top champions League games , I would have called the men in white coats .
Success comes at a price and I don't think it's ridiculously expensive and is comparable with other forms of live entertainment and that is the business we are in.
I do wonder at the ethics of some of our fans . Last year for the final game of the women's season , tickets were only five pounds and yet ,on a forum I saw people begging SC holders to get them free ones .
The days of entrance fee , programme and Bovril for two bob are long gone
I honestly doubt that there would have been the same level of moaning if we were top of the league and looking good this season.
Paid £40 for my ticket. That's reasonable.

sixty-five, I think you make a very valid point and, for a few quid more, I’m quite happy to see the back of squalid toilets, the crush to get in etc.

Agree completely about the 'expected must win crap' - remember being happy just not to get a battering by some lower league team in the cup and being saved from the ritual humiliation by ragtossers. However, are you remembering the Kippax through blue-tinted glasses? It was a bit of a mosh pit.
I miss the lack of expectation too.
Always preferred the north stand myself.
I've heard a bit of gossip about plans for prices next season. That season ticket prices will be frozen and that the season ticket will include COC games. Would be good if true.
That's good news. They should make the COC a cheap ticket for everyone. A tenner is enough, even at the semi final stage.
OP
So you're a student and can afford to go home and away? How on earth is that even possible?
A bit fekin nosy aren't you?

My season ticket is just over £400, and I work part time
Because I work full time and earn above national average wage and I cant afford to go away. I can barely afford my home ticket anymore. My ST is £800 for just 19 home games. And cup games usually take it close to a grand.

My season card cost £2500
Fortunately I'm fecking loaded
I spit on you filthy rag pauper
£2500?
You pay 2500 to watch that shower of sh111ttt? Where do you sit? Next to Pellers?
Definitely more money than sense you Bertie bitter massive be11-end
If you earn above national wage, and can't afford to go to away matches, you've got your priorities all wrong.

For £2,500 he sits on Pellers!
Paying 2500 id expect a few games every year.
£2,500 is averaging out at less than £50 a game this season in what I imagine are prime seats at every match.
