Okay, because you haven't seen any means it must be untrue. Cheers for clearing that up.
Its prolly they didnt sell them in the first place, so now that even one person wants one, theyre sold out.
If you read the BBC article on the subject it says they hardly sold any last season with us being bottom of the league for most of the season. But the fact we're doing well and owned by Thai's means the glory hunters are out in force buying shirts. Not really unrealistic.
I live in Norfolk and used to work as a first aider at a very popular English holiday destination and in my one season their, I saw more Leicester shirts than any other side. Obviously its the closest and best coastal resort town near Leicester but still. The Thai people saying they've switched to Leicester is a bit of a joke really, its glory hunting of the highest order. If my company sponsored Plymouth Argyle I wouldn't jump ship and support them
I doubt that honour dude, what kind of moron would decide to support a random ass team like lester based on just one good season?
Do you know what the term glory hunter means? Okay, there is the answer to your question.
but whats the point? Lester will go back to fighting relegation next season. Theyll just have to switch teams again,
Whilst I don't agree we will be fighting for relegation that makes no odds no glory supporters they just switch teams. Thats the point.
im pretty sure thats not how it works.
As far as I'm concerned, if we can get some glory this season and use it to attract new fans - be they "glory hunters" or people that are new to football - then great.
Also, if lots of people in Thailand are either actively supporting or getting a soft spot for Leicester because of our story so far this season, the owners will be absolutely delighted.
They dont just switch teams every season bro. They aint adtually gonna be lester fans, theyll just be buying it like as a souvenir or something.

Not true, and I speak from experience
I know of several Leicester fans in Zaragoza and they have been with us before our great last season in the Championship
Look, I catch out these 'plastics' every time in everyday football conversation. Just setting them a simple question about their chosen 'glory' club that even I know the answer to catches them out every time. They just haven't a clue and it winds me up.
Come to a certain Shopping Centre in North East Lincolnshire on any given Saturday and you'd think Liverpool or Manchester United were in town.

Our owners fell in love with our team when we were the plucky underdogs and won the League Cup.
They stuck with us and look how that turned out 👍
