Didn't think he deserved my attention. Logical though.
He plays like ordinary rubbish, so I'll ignore him like the rest of the ordinary people.

The fans of those clubs know that United have/have had a stronger team recently, yet in this instance the OP has a point (whatever his intentions were!).
To simply react by rubbishing his team is childish, would you not agree?
Imagine if we were back in the 80's, and you as a United fan had an opinion that United were beginning to show signs of a return to winning ways...do you think it would be fair comment for a Liverpool fan to reply, 'shut up, your opinion means nothing because you lot have not won the title for x amount of years', thus ending the debate?
Dubbed the New Wenger, I take it you did'nt enjoy his two goals and assist then against Arsenal?
Also, Arshavin is probably the worst, most selfish, lazy player in the League, I'm not just saying that now, even during the United match I was telling my mates just how useless this player is!

I have seen a Chelsea and Liverpool debate turn into a bunch of laughing faces with the names Carroll, Henderson, Shevchenko and Torres thrown about..

Isn't this exactly why there should be debate, isn't this the point of this forum? I think that City's squad is superior to United's...just because you don't doesn't mean it is a ridiculous concept and not worthy of debate!

There is a big difference between stating City's squad is superior (I disagree but can understand where that opinion comes from) and stating that City's squad is clearly far superior....

If we are just talking about superority then thats a little different, the original discussion was about fans mocking article makers teams rather than debating their points. We attempting a little shift as the previous ground was shall we say, a little thin ?
Even if we are going to talk of superority then pool fans at least do it all the time... I can't tell you the number of times one of them has stated the number of european cups they have won... they also like telling Chelsea fans this one...

Far is a more debatable term but based on what we have seen this season there really isn't much in the way of evidence to back up his theory..
