That isn't true, is it?

In fact, 13/14, we could mathematically still win the league on the final day, albeit with a massive goal difference swing.

Which is closer than Leicester are now

Gerrard -

will he ever live it down - I hope not

I didn't backtrack with anything. It wasn't my story. As I said before I just repeated what Sky and the BBC were saying. Perhaps I got the title wrong and was happy to change it.

It's interesting that people choose to pick at the title rather than discuss the allegations.

Perhaps Arro with his inside knowledge knows about the allegations. Are they true mate?

ForestBootBoy - I think Greatness is an opinion that's partly based on emotion, so you're always going to get differing answers on it. It's like in Formula 1, Michael Schumacher won more than Ayrton Senna, but I think most people would have Senna down as the greater (quite probably greatest).

I really didn't like him but saw him drive live so many times
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Were you his escort?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No he drove a Ferrari, he wouldn't get in an Escort 😉

Greatest ever managers for me in order;

1. Fergie
2. Alf Ramsey
3: Shankley
4. Paisley
5. Clough
6. David Pleat

----------------------------------------------------------------------
See it's funny but most people have shankly as higher than Paisley but I always thought Paisley was better.

He had the impossible task of following the great Bill shankly and yet not only did he do a good job, he improved on what shankly did.

Plus he was as ruthless as they came, and that's a commodity not found in enough managers Imo. Too loyal to players who used to be good for them, instead of being ruthless enough to shift them on when they're past it.

And I agree that ranieri will have achieved the greatest premier league achievement if you win the league but that doesn't mean he's the greatest premier league manager

Paisley had a great base to build from. Shankly did it from the second division where Liverpool had been for five years. Paisley simply carried on Shankly's great work and the foundation remained in place for years.

For me there's no comparison to what Shankly did.

The reasons you got your sharticle deleted were

1. You repeated unproven allegations from the Sunday Times. Unlike sky and the BBC who have protections in place and a legal team to deal with libel - neither you or this site does

2. You couldn't even repeat the allegations properly. First of all you declared the FA were investigating Leicester which is untrue. You then changed it to ACAD which is also untrue. You couldn't grasp the fact that no club is so far being investigated for anything. An independent investigation into the doctor and acad handling of evidence is happening first

3. Perhaps worst of all you started making things up to scaremonger. i won't repeat the worst of it for obvious reasons but I can tell you what you were saying was not reported anywhere.

How you even have the nerve to defend yourself after potentially landing admin in very hot water is amazing

I think we need to wait and see if this is anymore than a doctor who isn't licensed to practice medicine exaggerating to a potential client. If there is anything to it then I'm confident acad will find out through their investigation

Until then it would be very unwise for anyone to start pointing any fingers at any clubs or players

I think his numerous medals, including his CL medal and numerous individual awards will soften the blow somewhat. It could have been worst, he could have grew up a Forest supporter and stayed with them until his last few days in the sun in the US. He'd then have nothing to show for it.

Yeah, but going by your reckoning it doesn't count cos it was a fluke

No I don't. Not at all. What I think will happen is that the club, along with Chelsea, Arsenal and Birmingjam will take legal action against the Sunday Times when the allegations are found to be without any evidence. My personal opinion is that the doctor in question is very questionable with a track record in lying.

If any players have found to have used his services without the clubs knowledge then their contracts will be terminated as per clubs rules. Same at Liverpool. That is a big IF though
