"Plenty of our best players have done poorly in Italy and shone in the PL. Henry, Bergkamp, Vieira."
============================================
Exactly. If people still believe that Wenger is this great nurturer of talent, then Kondogbia, given what we know he's capable of, is exactly the kind of individual he can waken from an Italian scented slumber.

Kondogbia and Hummels for £50m? Really?!
----------
Hummels for about 30-35Mil
Kondogbia has been a disaster for inter they got him for around £25Mill so a bid of £20Mil could easily prize him away.

Plenty of our best players have done poorly in Italy and shone in the PL. Henry, Bergkamp, Vieira.

For some reason thought Kondogbia would be worth / valued at more. But I stand corrected. Over to you Arsene!

Most likely outcome:

Out: Rosicky, Arteta, Flamini
In: Xhaka

Not seen Xhaka, whats the deal with him? has anyone seen him play?

Kondogbia was called the future of Inter the other day.

I would like to see something like this...

Out: Walcott, Giroud, Rosicky, Arteta, Flamini, Sanogo, Debuchy, Jenkinson

In: Lukaku, Stones, Aubameyang, Wanayama, a RB

The core of the team would be stronger and the players in are young enough that we would get years out of them.

Yeah, just read that. Despite a disappointing first season, he isn't going anywhere. They really rate him there. And rightly so.

stones?!

why not! decent player, very young meaning we would get time and service out of him....

He's far to accident prone, level with chambers

Stones would be a massive waste of money, if we must go to Everton to buy defenders (please god no) then it would be Funes Mori I would buy.

Inter are hardly going to say Kondogbia has been a total disaster as they otherwise his value would drop. If anyone offered them a similar amout to what they paid they would sell no doubt. £20Mil should do it considering he cost them £25Mil

Why would u get rid of Welbeck instead of Theo?? Not being funny but theo is one of the biggest wasters at our club. When the going gets tough he shrinks like a puss pot.

I like Sturridge but him at arsenal would be a disaster with our medical clowns.

Like is siad get Hummels and Kondogbia/Witsel for big money. (probably get them both for £50Mil) and try and snap up Zlatan on a free.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because if we have enough strikers I prefer Theo as a wide option to Welbeck. If we don't buy a CF then Welbeck is a preferred option as a striker than Walcott but wide Theo is much more efficient.

Welbeck isn't good enough as a striker anyway but anywhere else he'd be a waste of an option at least Theo has historically excelled out wide.

I wouldn't mind either going to fund a new striker tbh but will always be convinced Theo is a useful weapon to have more so than Welbeck

I find it amazing ppl still think walclott can contribute

he will be kak whatever position he plays

Walcott is terrible at football.

some muggy team will buy him for 20+ mil, I say, let them.

Kante and Mahrez for 80m, Ibra on a free, sell Walcott and Ox and buy a CB with the money

The only good reason to have Theo is British players go for well over value thanks to the homegrown rule

Sorry but Welbeck over Theo for me at the moment.

Tbh ID rather have Welbeck on the wing. Theo might score a few more but he brings hardly anything else to the team. Welbeck is a pure workhorses and even when things aren't going well he will give 100% every game be it in defence or attack.

Welbeck over walnut all day and night

Everything about his game is better, and welbeck is pretty average. He is saved by his industry.
